  1. Well if it's clear they aren't staying, firstly can we not promote them to Captain, that would be a nice start.
  2. It wasn't a criticism, I'm not married either... but being from a different culture and being religious, there are often more pressures for that. I wasn't exactly sat here wagging my finger at him for not being married, it had just crossed my mind.
  3. On a serious note, it’s nice he’s happy. I’ve wondered a few times why perhaps he wasn’t married, would be lovely for him to have a little boy of his own to bring to the football. Goodness… I think even the most heartless person would see the beauty and symmetry in that.
  4. Don’t be silly, the post horn gallop… and the awful half time version at that.
  5. Was just about to say exactly the same, I don't know what the actual rules are. But from witnessing 1000's of games it's always been the same. In your own half... just play on if you have the space and time to pass it away. Getting near the opponents box, then give the free kick unless you obviously have the chance to do something with a high potential outcome of a goal.
  6. Well if they are tucked up in bed an hour before I even get out of Freemans common, I'd say that's a pretty good win. People are free to do what they want, if you want to be supporter of the year and see every second then knock yourself out. What others do doesn't matter.
  7. All of which you can do, and still leave two minutes before the end of the game. Some people have to get up for work early, some people have very long drives home, some consider the tiny chance something might happen in that last couple of minutes worth the risk of missing to not sit in endless traffic.
  8. Bet the ref from tonight appeared and gave a free kick to Sunderland the second Top went down.
  9. Good for you, other people don’t put football first in their lives.
  10. I’m going to presume she twigged before he went down on one knee 😂
  11. It’s simple, we have a very old fan base. We’ve been filling the ground for basically a decade and haven’t been able to bring young fans through for a long long time. Add in the club doing all they can to stifle the support from the moment we moved to this ground, it’s what you end up with. The majority have either been there and done it, or been conditioned to be this way. I detest the fact the club have got exactly what they aimed for, sterile boring support. Fans would get old and probably move away from the more lively areas, allowing the younger generation to come through. Now nobodies moves, they just occupy the seats until they die decades later.
  12. L1 still sing? That’s a shock, they’ve been mute since Jobber went.
  13. If you are supporting the Odeon, go every week and know the likely end of the film, you probably would. It’s just not comparable, people have always left early, they always will leave early. The complaints are just boring.
  14. That's what we want them to do, that's part of the game plan of teams like us and Brighton, draw the player in and then break the lines through the space they leave.
  15. Plays for Leicester mate, you not watched the video.
