  1. It gets better and better. I guess they must have cried again when they bottled it in the Champions League.... and the Europa League. And will be doing so again as they blow two more trophies in the coming weeks... The heart bleeds for them..
  2. Evidently a bitter, deluded and deeply scarred man. All this does is betray the excruciating agony Pochettino and his players felt (and still clearly feel) about the way little Leicester City ruthlessly and emphatically turned their title dream to dust. Love it.
  3. I guess the reason Okazaki frustrates us so much is that we all want him to succeed because of the monumental effort he puts in, but in terms of tangible output (goals and assists) he very rarely does. But please take the word 'genius' out of the thread title. He is a limited footballer who fits into our style of play. That's all. (Having said that, I'd love him to shove those words down my throat with a couple of vital goals in the next few weeks. How about one in Madrid, Shinji?)
  4. If you did a league table of managers you dislike, Dyche would have be at the summit - even ahead of Moanrinho and Arsehole Whinger. in his weird, one-eyed world Burnley never ever get a break, are the unluckiest team in the history of the universe and deserve everyone's sympathy and praise. The subtext he is attempting to generate is that he is a brilliant manager and therefore nothing can ever possibly be his (or, by extension, his team's) fault. In short, he's a big-headed cnut. Worse still, he's so stupid he doesn't realise that he is.
  5. I have to confess that a certain part of the joy provided by the team's sudden renaissance since Claudio's removal is the knowledge of how bad these moralising, bandwagon-jumping, tiny-minded pundits/journalists are feeling right now. I will salute the first of them to come out and admit he got it wrong and that Ranieri had to go because he was the problem this season - not the owners, not Shakespeare, nor the players. But I fear that will never happen. How about you taking the lead, Lineker? Go on, re-establish your credibility (and, to use your word, goodwill) with the fans of the club you love.
  6. More like a giant blue and white wasp up his arse
  7. Paul Merson being (literally) gutted is a pleasant thought with which to start a rainy Sunday morning
  8. Well let's hope someone in the MOTD post-production unit has a 'quiet word' with Keown (such as 'that was borderline slander, Martin. Don't call us, we'll call you. Sleep well')
  9. But why didn't Lineker oppose Keown and upbraid him for his vindictive, slanderous comments about Shakespeare? Coward.
  10. Keown on MotD - yawn, change the record ffs. Murphy sensible as usual. Lineker fidgeting uncomfortably - or was that squirming?
  11. What an opinionated arsehole he is. Imagine finding yourself sat next to him on a long-haul flight... or Merson, Carragher, Owen,Savage or any of that rabble...
  12. Just happened upon the BT Sport lynch mob all still banging the same "shameful Leicester players got lovely Claudio sacked" drum. What is the matter with these people? Why doesn't even one of them have the courage or intelligence to engage his brain and even entertain the possibility that our sudden resurgence since Ranieri was dismissed might have had something to do with the fact that the manager himself was the problem. And to think that these numbskulls actually get paid for ignoring the evidence and pedalling this biased, bandwagon-jumping, agenda-driving bullcrap. For the sake of justice I hope none of them ever gets to serve on a jury in a court of law.
  13. The worst player in the Premier League bar none. Akinbiyi-esque. Can't bear watching the useless t@@t.
  14. What must Gray feel, when he is third pick behind Albrighton (a player whose default in possession is to 'just get rid!) and a man who can run fast but whose risible first touch suggests he took up the wrong sport?
