When your excessive weekly pay packet puts you on Easy Street, the motivation (hunger and desire) drops - then, if things don’t go well and you are of a certain mindset that prioritises self-preservation above the collective, practically disappears. In some extreme cases the importance of self-preservation can actually extend to sabotage. Here’s looking at you, Brendan Rodgers - the cornerstone of Leicester City’s decline.

It is nice to see all those damning stats in black and white - or red and white in this case - but it’s not exactly a surprise, is it? It’s what we’ve been seeing with our own eyes - and complaining about - all season. This group of players is the laziest, most complacent, least likeable and least supportable Leicester City side of all time. Shame on the club’s ownership and management for not just being blind to it but continuously indulging the spoilt brats. You reap what you sow. Third division here we come…

Top not having the guts to sack Rodgers at least a year before he should have done - then failing to spot the sabotage that ensued.

Oh guaranteed to be a repeat of 2022/23 - slow painful torture and relegation not confirmed until after the final whistle.of the final game.

The lack of care and urgency from these players is genuinely concerning. What the f**k is going on?

Another horrible 45 minutes in a season bursting with them. Just such a hideous team to watch. Where is the urgency given their predicament? The obvious conclusion is that none of them really care.

I realise now that Daka does have some ability after all… …the ability to drag all of his teammates down to his level.

That little flame of optimism under the new manager didn’t last long, did it? An absolute shambles. As it has been the whole season. I’ve been following the club for over 50 years and this is undoubtedly the laziest, shoddiest, inept group of players we have ever had. I can’t bear to watch them again this season.

Can we just file for relegation now and not play any more matches this season please? Painless death rather than death after incessant torture.

Not one player doing his job properly. Headless chickens the lot of them. Lucky to be level. Glad I stayed at home.

Mavididi was abysmal. Kept losing the ball and messing up the nice work of the three midfielders.

Worked hard for the point - apart from weak link Mavididi - but got to do better on those breakaways. So many tame half hearted shots at keeper rather than carving out real chances. I’ll take the draw tonight - and am impressed with Rowett so far (so obviously a massive improvement on the Spanish fraud) - but we have to be going for wins from now on, starting on Sat v Norwich.

This team finds new ways to self destruct - and torture us fans - every week. So predictable that after scoring a goal Okoli would then cancel it out by gifting them one. And just before half time too. Really don’t know why we bother

This is effectively a penalty for mismanagement and means eternal shame for Top, which I believe is about as low as it gets in Thai culture. Staying up can't and won't change that. His father's beautiful legacy has been destroyed by foolish incompetence. We have to force him out of the club before he does any more damage.
