At times they are Anyway...they are the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, which gets shortened to "Ti-Cats". And on another note, there used to be two teams with the same nickname. Both Ottawa and Saskatchewan were the "Roughriders". The only difference was that one had it as one word and the other as two. Saskatchewan are still the Roughriders, but Ottawa, who were gone from the league for awhile, but came back as the Redblacks.

I've always lived in or just outside of Hamilton, so it's the TiCats for me. I used to go to the games, but I haven't been for a couple of years. I still watch the occasional game, although I missed the opener this weekend.

That was an interesting playoff for sure Was rooting for Fox. Really disappointed that none of our guys stepped up today.

Credit to Rory, as he's one of the few big name players that always plays in the Canadian Open, as most skip it to prepare for the US version. This unfortunately, was the worst he's ever played here. He finished 5 strokes behind a 55 year old Mike Weir for christ sakes! It's going to definitely affect the weekend crowd turnout unfortunately, even with a lot of homegrown talent in the running. I'm one of many that thought that Masters win would really help him going forward and it's so far, been the opposite.

Looks like we have our first signing with Matthew Dennis from Carlisle. As with most signings at this level, I don't know much about him. I do see that he's a forward, doesn't score a lot and has had injury troubles, so he should be perfect.
