This from the Mail: Van Nistelrooy's decision to take off fans' favourite Bilal El Khannouss was met with cries of 'You don't know what you're doing' at a toxic King Power Stadium with supporters also turning against the board and director of football Jon Rudkin.

Top to sell the club - he's had plenty of chances to sack Rudkin and has chosen not to for reasons best known to himself so he should now just sell up and go. RVN was just another bad decision in a long line of bad decisions and I would hope that new ownership would mean a clean sweep of the club from top to bottom.

This is where the focus and blame needs to be directed to now - Top's inaction has got us to this position and if he won't take the tough decisions then he needs to sell up to someone who will. We'll never make any true progress again until he's gone - last year's instant promotion was clearly just papering over the growing cracks and there's no point making any more managerial changes with him in position.
