Yes we know that. What about him being the next Leicester manager?
-
So Sunderland hire a relatively unknown foreign manager who gets them promoted in his first season in the championship. Can’t see it catching on….. While it looks like we’re hiring a manager who makes Ruud look like Pep in his prime.
-
I’m really surprised we’ve not been in for Davide Ancelotti. Looks like he’s going Rangers. Would seem like a similar appointment to Enzo.
-
So it looks like we won’t have learnt anything from last summer when we should have paid the compensation for Corberan and the same is gonna happen with Rohl.
-
I really don’t think there’s much between Rohl and Cleverley. I wouldn’t be against Cleverley. Both finished mid table and Watford were only a point behind Sheffield Weds.
-
He’s available now. Been sacked by Augsburg. Seems quite harsh. Finished comfortably mid table in the bundesliga.

Yes we’ve picked up wins against the rubbish we are going down with but why should we be respectful of him? He’ll get a decent pay out and then get a job back in Holland. 17 defeats not 5 or 6 but fvcking 17!!! We win 2 or 3 of those games and pick up a few draws and we would at least be going into the last few games with a chance of stopping up. I’m not saying we’d of definitely stopped up but we’d of given ourselves a fighting chance. But we don’t want to disrespect a manager with 17 defeats out of 19 and not scoring in 9 consecutive home games……. If I was Ruud I’d count myself very lucky to of even lasted till the end of this season. -
Martin Demichelis. Ex- man city defender. Won the league with River Plate and just left Mexican side Monterrey. Also worked at Bayern Munich reserves. I know we will end up with Mr Ego or Dyche but ffs sake at least look abroad.
-
Gotta respect a manager who’s lose 17 of 19 games and not scored in 9 consecutive home games….. Absolutely clueless idiots.
-
Date of sacking: September 18th Position when sacked: 17th Points: 1 Last game in charge and result: Leyton Orient 0-3 (H)
-
Even with us in this mess I still think we can get someone better than Martin.
-
They were but he kept them up.
-
My only hope is that we’ve been linked with Dyche, Carsley and now Martin in recent weeks and that it’s nonsense. Hopefully next week it’ll be someone else who I’d rather want. I think the club are trying to get a gauge on fan reaction because they haven’t got a clue who to get in.
-
Says it all that I’d rather have Hassenhutl who was in charge against us when we beat Southampton 9-0 and has another 9-0 against him than this prat.
-
Another pro - his Mrs.
-
It seemed last summer it was definitely going to be Potter and then all of a sudden it was Cooper. Hopefully the same thing will happen but I can see the alternative being Dyche and I don’t want him either.
-
I pray Martin ends up at Rangers.
-
Martin isn’t even the best ex Southampton manager available. Hassenhutl or Selles I’d rather have.
-
Would rather have Dyche and I don’t want him. Spacks of he will do as he’s available. Loads of managers I’d rather we went for.
-
Like it seemed last summer it’s a win win for any manager coming in with a points deduction. Their credibility and reputation goes up if they turn the club around and if they don’t it’s an easy excuse to blame the points deduction. With the financial mess we’re in we’re not getting any one from another club and having to pay compensation. Based on that I’d look at Cleverley, Cifuentes (not sure what’s happening at QPR), and Selles.
-
If we are interested in Rohl the only thing I can think of is that we’re waiting until we are officially a championship club. So we only have to pay 2m in compensation.
-
At least we are if reports are true looking abroad for a new manager.

Managers these days lose their job if they don’t have a win in 5 or 6 games. This prat has lost 17 of 19 games and not scored in 9 consecutive home games. It shouldn’t be under consideration for him to be in charge next season. He shouldn’t have lasted this season. -

No it’s not like they’ve lost 17 out of 19 games and not scored in 9 consecutive homes in the premiership…….. You can’t beat that sort of experience.
