  1. I don’t want Wilder. Overrated and arrogant. Look abroad. Plenty of decent options available.
  2. You only have to look at wolves to see what happens when you get an experienced manager in. There were plenty readily available when Cooper went - Schmidt, Fischer, Conceicao, Kovac and Rudi Garcia. We don’t lose 17 out of 19 games and not score in 9 consecutive games with one of those in charge. We might have still gone down but we’d of least put up more of a fight and imo took it to the last 3 or 4 matches of the season.
  3. Add to this 17 defeats out of 19. 9 consecutive home games without scoring. I’m sure our rivals are shitting themselves for next season if Ruud remains in charge.
  4. Priske isn’t. He’s gone back to Sparta Prague. No chance getting Schmidt. Struber is favourite for the Bristol City job. The rest we should be looking at. My preference from abroad is Jess Thorup. Experienced manager who is readily available and has worked around Europe and developed young players.
  5. I’m not sure you even need that. Look at Le Bris he finished mid table with Lorient and then went down yet got Sunderland promoted last season.
  6. Is there any possibility of us going for someone from abroad? Even sides like QPR and Bristol City are it seems doing it. I just wish we’d look further afield than just this country.
  7. It’s unlikely but someone who is at another club who I’d love us to get is Fabio Grosso. Won Serie B with Sassuolo. Also Filippo Inzaghi got Pisa promoted from Serie B. Although I’m not so sure on someone who scored a lot of goals in his playing career after what’s happened with Ruud.
  8. Yes he’s grown on me. Seems to have Pearson vibes which is what we need now.
  9. So if we can get someone from another club after the 1st July because of the financial situation who would we want? Rohl obviously, Wellens? Anyone else.
  10. Ok. I’m still not convinced we’ll get Rohl. Can see him going somewhere else before then.
  11. I don’t see us paying Ruud off and then paying out for them. I know we’ll get compensation for Murphy and the gk coach but with our financial situation imo it’ll be someone out of work.
  12. Alonso took his first Real Madrid training session today and fainted. Not because of the heat but because he saw Trent Alexandra Arnold trying to defend.
  13. Middlesbrough under Carrick have got worse every season. They’ve finished 4th, 8th and 10th. Can’t understand why anyone would want him.
  14. Should have got him when Rodgers was fvcking everything up.
  15. Look at the managerial appointments so far in the championship Mason 33 wba, Still 32 Southampton, Manning 39 Norwich, and Pezzolano 42 Watford. Add to that Rohl 36 Sheffield weds, McKenna 39 at Ipswich and Mousinho 39 at Portsmouth. Yet for some reason we reportedly think dinosaur Dyche is the answer.
  16. How can a team be already relegated when we were 16th and a point above the relegation zone? I still maintain a more experienced manager gets us a few more wins and draws in that disastrous run of 17 defeats out of 19 games. Not saying we’d of stopped up but we’d of definitely took it to the last 3 or 4 games of the season.
  17. I was making a similarity to the 2 other relegated teams that they’ve got young managers in while we consider keeping a manager who lost 17 of 19 games and did not score in 9 consecutive home games. Cleverley did well last season until Watford got a lot of injuries and gave youth a chance. I’d rather we go for young hungry managers who in the past we’ve done well with. Cleverley also only finished 1 point behind Rohls Sheffield Wednesday. Dyche got promoted over 10 years ago. Football has moved on a lot since then and you only have to see what Moyes got out of the same players at Everton. Dyche lack of playing young players and going with has beens makes me hope it’s not him. Please tell me what you’ve seen in Ruud to suggest he should start next season. Because I haven’t seen anything positive.
  18. Why would Cleverley get walked over? Southampton have appointed Still and Ipswich have McKenna both young managers. Do they get walked over? Ruud has shown zero tactical ability and Dyche is a dinosaur.
  19. It baffles me how you can reportedly go from Russell Martin to Sean Dyche as manager. They are polar opposite in styles of play. It just smacks of a that’ll do approach because they are readily available.
  20. Readily available foreign managers who I think we have a realistic chance of getting. Paolo Vanoli Jess Thorup Brian Priske Kasper Hjulmand Bo Svensson Martin Demichelis Paolo Bento Add to that Hassenhutl and Carlos Carvahal who’ve managed in this country and there’s plenty to at least look at. As well as Cleverley and Selles who are also readily available and did well in difficult circumstances last season.
  21. There are plenty if we cared to actually look outside of this country.
  22. Why would anyone want Wilder I don’t know. Arrogant manager who thinks he’s better than he actually is. Would just be like us to get the wrong manager from Sheffield.
  23. You only have to look at what Moyes and Pereira have done with the same players Dyche and O’Neil had. Don’t want Dyche or O’Neil.
  24. Please tell me what you’ve seen from him to suggest he deserves the start of next season? He shouldn’t have lasted last season let alone be considered for the start of next.
