  1. Oooooo ya! Talk dirty to me 🥵
  2. Bit of a nothing article, no one seems to have a clue what we are doing, feeds into the narrative that we are just stood still, doing nothing and not really thinking about it until June. The comments section is interesting, other than the Forest weirdos who don't care about us so much they had to flood it with nonsense.... The general feeling seems to be that of, be careful what you wish for and this is just where we belong. Got a long way to go I think until people really figure it out.
  3. At least they got in a "we are where we are" at the end. Have you even been relegated if you don't have some official body state that?
  4. We had some great times with Wilf early on, proper destroyer in his prime, those days are long behind him, too good for the championship not good enough for the premier league, £9m given the football landscape feels about right. Unfortunately for me he's a player whose legs went from being able to play at the top level about 3/4 years ago and rather than recognise that and move on, we did our normal thing and took the easy option of just extending him. I don't think hes one of the main culprits of anger, but I won't be sad to see him go.
  5. Many of the stages of grief all played out there just in the pod alone! All of which was perfectly acceptable, I think most of us assumed he was going to MLS and some big money that would make sense for both parties, but now the Wrexham/Sheffield Wednesday rumours have started it's bought another angle to it, if he was to go there then its not about budget altering money, and then you think he should be staying. The only acceptable reason for him to leave is about not having a 38/39 year old on 80-100k a week. But if he would play on 30k a week then I think the decision becomes more questionable. Overall it's just sad it's come to this and I think it's absolutely acceptable for us all to go through a range of emotions and thoughts on this over the coming months. On to the club stuff, I agree on the club are just standing still, I know we aren't notoriously quick but I think we are now just in a state of doing nothing. No decisions are being made, no plan is being formed, we are essentially just pretending nothings happened and we will have a quick 30 minute meeting in June to figure it all out and that's it done. Muslic would be a great shout, we would need him to apply as I'm not convinced the board even know who he is. Like you boys I'm completely resigned to Martin though, which I'm not completely against, but it feels like it's going to end in 18 months in shambles.
  6. I agree with all of this, if it is Martin, he wouldn't be who I want, but he would likely get us back up. Putting aside for a second whether people like or loathe his style of football. I just can't see how his brand can be effective in the premier league, given the standard of player we will have to execute it. So then I just get to the point of thinking what's the point? It's been proven the football that he plays works well when your the best or at least one of the better teams in the league, but its a disaster when you aren't. The only thing I noted he said he would change is he would encourage more of the "dark arts" which probably would help, but it would take one of the best recruitment campaigns you've ever seen to find a group of players than can play his brand of football in the premier league on a championship budget.
  7. Two Lineker recommendations. I felt like it would be Russell Martin months ago, and I still think it will be, but no one seems to know what's going on with us, communication even internally has broken down. Rangers fans would like Martin and I think he would be better suited to them. I have such an apathy towards whoever we appoint as they will have to operate under the clown show above them. If we are between Martin and Dyche, that would show you how clueless we are, 2 completely different managers who will want and need completely different things. The lack of any idea what we are doing couldn't be more evident
  8. Going as expected. Players who won't be here next season making sure they don't get an injury to damage a move led by a "manager" who wants a pay off we won't give.
  9. That's fair, I think I'm just currently in the denial stage of grief, finding it hard to imagine anyone would be worthy of it ever again. When they give it to Ayew next season 🤢💔
  10. Nothing solid. Just a few well connected people reckon they have some info, so it's difficult to really know if it's true or not. Jordan on the podcast mentioned he'd been told by 2 separate sources the same info about the club looking for further investment or wanting to sell a significant % of the club. A couple on here noticed some very rich Thai business men are attached to king power and the club who aren't well known. I highly doubt they would sell us, but they can't be pleased with a 2nd relegation, Top might not be a football man but I can imagine other people who have significant power around King Power may well be and will be asking questions.
  11. Interesting Vardy didnt mention Rudkin in his video, but did thank Susan, I'm probably reading too much into it though. I'm just pleased the media are really starting to pick up on it all, even the most hard-core king power fanatic must be struggling to form an argument against it now.
  12. Inevitable, as some have said it does feel like the end of our successful era and we now enter a new one of uncertainty and obscurity while we try and figure out how to fix this mess. But this isn't about that for now, just about him, the best we ever had and probably ever will have. If the club has anything left about it they will retire the number 9 shirt and get a statue built ASAP. Going to take some time to come to terms with this and see him play for someone else even if it is in America. Cheers for everything you absolute king.
  13. Jonathan was excellent, one of the best guests you've had, spoke really well, good insight and caveated bits. And his tone, he felt like one of us, struggling to comprehend what's going on despite having knowledge. I know quite a few people on here have said our success was down to Nigel Pearson, but this really brings it home, Jonathan gave a good overview of how things worked and why we have been left behind, good members of the team have been head hunted and we've been left with the dregs and we haven't evolved. We are essentially Blockbuster when streaming services first appeared trying to cling on to something that's only heading in one direction. On Rudkin, the interesting bit is another journalist with insight saying Rudkin needs help and has too much power, which seems to be the feeling around the club, he does work/try hard and could have a role, but not the one he has now. The bit about we wanted O'Neil back and only got Ranieri because his agent sent a CV in...I mean that optimises the process the board goes through, pure vibes and luck. I struggle to agree on all the RVN points, I do understand the points raised and how he's been let down, but for me he's already shown he has a distain for us, never goes over to the fans, embraces opposition players laughing and joking with them, everything about him just screams he isn't the guy despite the bad circumstances, and though I do agree a disciplinarian is the right way forward, he doesn't seem to have much else in the locker tactically and team selection wise it's very poor. Overall I do think it doesn't matter who is in charge until we see some shake up above the manager, no manager will be able to excel until that's fixed. I find myself dissecting this podcast more than the football atm as its the only thing about leicester bringing me any joy! 😅 Good stuff keep it up.
  14. I think alot of people on here, me included are not surprised at all, it's exactly as expected. I think the fact a large group have dared to speak out and the media have got hold of it has left him furious. The only thing the silence is doing is making some who are still on the owners side start to question themselves. It's a terrible look to just say nothing and adds more fuel to the fire. I should add, I expect an AI generated statement to land soon enough, but its already too late.
  15. This is spot on, it kind of goes in hand with what opposition fans say. "You achieved more than 95% of clubs will ever achieve in their modern history, so you can't complain" This mentality has taken hold of the board and their supporters, we should just accept whatever happens because of a small period of success. What I would say is this forum, the protests, the re structure of the Foxes Trust, tells me that people do care and I believe there is a movement growing, it might not go as fast or as hard as some would like, but it is happening.
