28,000 attendance being read out was like when my Gran read out a cracker joke on Christmas day. Like it's not funny, but she could be dead by next Christmas, so you have to laugh.

Honestly in this role where he drifts into the 10 he's become David Silva IMO

I would take that as a very bad sign if they released that statement
That's true. Like a vote of confidence in Macquarie

He does paint a different picture, but also important to note that he benefits from doom mongering as this is what gets clicks and that's what companies pay for. So, I do agree, it seems we're in a particularly perilous situation, but the truth will come to light very shortly I'm sure.
It would help if the club could come out with a bit of clarification. Just a quick "your club isn't going bust" would be a nice consolation for getting to play Mansfield and Bromley and not knowing.

Even if this is out of some misplaced blind loyalty because his Dad liked him, I think he's more than shown enough loyalty by now.

I've been to Everton today for a work conference. It really drove home the shit show we are.
This club was dodging spending rules and on the pitch struggles.
They got a new CEO and brand new leadership team when new owners came in and they're now growing. In his words 'we are revenue obsessed and because of that we can invest on the pitch'.
Central to this is the new stadium. It's incredible and I couldn't help but think about what could have been when I saw the blue seats. Quite fitting when you think about how faded our seats are! They spent £800m on the stadium. It's not a year old and they will spend £8m on growing more premium spaces. Not boxes....but bars and nice settings for normal fans who just want a nice place to have a beer and a better experience. I can't remember the kast time the KP even got a lick of paint!
The CEO was incredibly impressive and talked about how he engages with fan groups.
One great point is that he thinks it's better to have fans who have been to at least 1 away game a season rather than 3k that go to every away game. So for the best interests of long term fan growth he's changing their away priority scheme. (Get younger people obsessed with being a fan and we will grow).
Got an obligatory picture of KDHs shirt in the dressing room. Good on him for getting out of this shit shower.
Final interesting point is how obsessed they are with data. It underpins their decisions. I have it on good authority that LCFC engaged with a business that is famous for data work and they couldn't grasp the basics and so binned off the idea.
Don't doubt all that but they still had loads of empty seats at home games that were revealed to be reserved as part of packages for abroad fans.

I don't think they'll have any intention of paying Macquarie anything at the minute, they'll ask for it to rollover, Macquarie will say yes and double the interest.

Does the 85m include what we are giving them from the parachute payments? So it will go down to 45m right? Is that wishful thinking

I mean there is already a thread open about this.
In essence, if Top is willing to plow money into the club, to cover the natural losses, and we can successfully get rid of all of the high earners, then we won’t necessarily be at threat. And we could do some form of rebuild.
But it all hinges if Top is willing to plow money into the club.
I can't imagine that he won't do this. I know everyone is saying he won't, but why would he hold onto the club and not fund it? There's no saving face in keeping it and being the owner as it goes bankrupt.

Selling Seagrave is just something Forest fans are coming up with.
Only reason we would do that is not to pay operating costs and for how much it would set us back selling it, we wouldn't even consider it.
Everyone seems to forget they can still be relegated too.

The KPFC lot will be hoping it's someone even worse just so they can say we told you so

Did I hear Pipes right tonight?
Was driving back from the game and I'm sure he spoke about an old guy in front of him, "a lovely guy who's always at games, etc, never boos but cheers the team on" etc.
But tonight he made his thoughts clear towards the hierarchy of the club and was subsequently "ushered out of the ground".
Pipes then stated that "this was not the club he knows anymore"
If this is right then even more shame on LCFC....if that's even possible.
I really rate that he says it as it is like this because I know Alan Young was basically threatened with his job for so much as suggesting King Power don't know anything about football.
Just shows how much this stuff has always been there despite everyone thinking this is just post Vichai thing.

There have been times this season where Abdul (on his side of the pitch) has completely lost it. I mean - completely off his head lost it. Each time i have seen Riccy do the bare minimum dealing with Abdul. There is no leadership at all from him. Even worse, the modern version of him only wants to play a variation on the inverted fullback role, and his legs are completely gone.
The amount of times playing that awful version of the inverted full back role where a team has just popped it out to the wing and he's caught in the centre circle hopelessly jogging back too.
We have so many parts of Enzo ball we can't now carry out yet the managers employed are clearly instructed to still play.
