That league is absolutely in the gutter. Okoli is wanted by Milan and a couple of others over there. I think we have seen enough of him to know he'd never cut it in the Premier League.

Do you think when the Social Media team talk about posting something like this that they're all sat there knowing full well how badly it's going to go down?
I think at the minute stuff like this just needs a post on the website and that's it. There's literally no positives in posting this to socials to get all the comments they keep getting. I keep seeing "read the room" on every post and they do anything but.
Then again, we are playing a charity match to celebrate the title win against players like Troy Deeney. We don't even get to escape the ridicule in the summer.

We shouldn't be keeping Lascelles, I would imagine he would be able to demand higher wages from a Championship club. We are stuck with Vestergaard, no one is coming to buy him and he won't force a move, he knows that he will be getting paid more by us than what any one else will offer. Same could be said for Mavididi and BCDR, we have shot ourselves in the foot so much by offering wages to players that are so much higher than their actual value.
Based on Fatawu's recent form I'd also be surprised if we get anything north of £15million for him.
Mavididi and BDCR in League One? I'm getting my popcorn

Good chance that this makes a loss. Will be very interested in how much money LOROS actually get.
Scenes when it's -£400,000 and Top goes to demand £400,000 from LOROS

Is there a list of who's playing for either side? I've not seen one yet.
They don't want to release that before you buy a ticket!

Are Vardy, Mahrez & Kante even going to be available for this?
Schmeichel is injured too isn’t he?
You mean you aren't happy with Conrad Logan, David Nugent, Jeff Schlupp and Gary Taylor-Fletcher as the stand-ins to celebrate this momentous occasion?

One would think that they're increasing the numbers of Season Ticket holders to guarentee funds into the club.
Also guarentees bums on seats in what is a troubling season.
Plus they'll be far less individual sales of tickets for each game. Makes sense

4 GA for a whole season in the second tier. Got to be the worst return for a winger for us at this level for a long long long time over that many games?
Probably says a lot about our history that I can name a few. Make a good quiz that though.

Will go and have a class 1st year somewhere and we'll all have the piss well and truly ripped out of us by their fans. May well revert to type when things don't go so well.
When this sort of shit happens it just confirms to me we were right more than some big told you so.
James Justin saying he wasn't really used to being held to account until playing for Leeds. It's like if you can't do the basics for us without someone else telling you then I don't give a **** what you do elsewhere.
We've got enough to focus on here to be bothered about what any of these charlatans do after us.

Id like to know what about the hundreds of pages of depressed men claiming everything from we're going down again, getting administration and going bust makes you think there's a lack of appreciation for the situation?

It's not even the timing of it, it's the fact they'll be about 3 players at best from the title win.
Even if you want to excuse the timing because it was booked months ago, it's yet again just Top only being okay to acknowledge what he thinks King Power achieved.
If anyone wanted to do a match to celebrate the League Cup win over Tranmere it wouldn't even get a reply.

RVN was keen to stay on and Rowett clearly wants the job. I'm not sure they all hate it as much as you imply.
I never heard about Ruud being keen to stay on. He looked miserable as anything when he was here and was undoubtedly lied to. But I'll take your word for it.
I know Rowett wants to stay on but he's been reported as seething about Enzo being here for his first game and was on record before we joined saying how poorly the club has been run.
I think in Rowett's case, the job is bigger than anything he will now go on to get so I can see why he'd want to stay. I think you can not think much of the owner and director and still want to stay.

I do think our reputation, probably even more so outside of England would be "fallen giant, I can fix them". We'd still be viewed as an opportunity.
Albeit one I'd view as a big trap with this owner. But there'll be prospective managers who have less idea of this than we do.
When Ruud did his homework on us, he rang Enzo and was given completely the wrong impression of what this club is like to work for. That isn't to say Ruud was blameless. He was terrible.
But he was also lied to by a pair of frauds. I think Enzos goodwill towards them would very likely have ran out very soon after if he did not leave when he did.
I can't imagine Marti, Ruud, Cooper or Rowett giving anyone the thumbs up to come here. Hopefully Dick doesn't have their numbers.

Thing is despite being at probably our lowest ebb, we are a big club, bigger than the last time we were in league 1.
We might be a mess, but if there is even the slight chance for someone to build something here, they might just decide to take a chance.
I get things are bad and this situation was so avoidable, but I think it's leading to some on here being prophets of doom.
I can't blame them for it, but this situation is manageable. We are a big pull still for a manager to sort us out.
If we look back in 5 years and it was the way to clear out the most hideous dressing room in our history, we managed to develop 5-6 academy players into being worth x amount and we are back at at least top half Championship level or Premier League - I dare say we will say it was for the best.

The way Ipswich created chance after chance because they needed a goal.
Not a chance the players we have should be so far away from being able to do that either. Something has gone so ****ing wrong.

Was overcoached by Enzo as basically played as a wing back half the time. But the very things he's being called out for (rightfully); his selfishness, decision making, predictability, were the very things he was amazing at. It's now gone to the other extreme and is given total freedom.
He needs a manager who gives him more discipline but not as shackled as an Enzo system demands. Still got incredible potential
It would be great if that freedom involved something different from cutting inside and blazing it over.
This is where we needed characters in the dressing room to pull him up on it. You could say that about so many of them.
Those saying his stats are good are right but that was his stats 2-3 months ago. The last couple of months he's given up as much as anyone else.

The club are struggling to keep minium wage staff employed how the can we afford to keep any players
Begs the question. Who pays for this total mess
Those staff you can just get rid of, unfortunately. That's the difference between the two.
The staff at the bottom of every business pay for the bad performance of those at the top.
Radcliffe at Man United has made decisions like cutting meals and cutting £100 bonuses for office staff. Whilst Tan Hag and Anorim get pay offs in the millions.

Said it before but it feels so over the top in size. Is there really the need for what seems like 40 ****ing pitches.
It's always been the equivalent of Millhouse's Dad showing Homer his car bed. That's Top showing ever manager around

Tbf its hard to imagine him doing any worse this season than the 2 we got, at least he gave youth a chance
Yeah really stuck his neck on the line with the 12 minutes Monga got in last game of the season or the 5 minutes Evans got.

I'm doing a lot of research on managers I'd want that I think are achievable, but my gut instinct is Top will double down and get Russell Martin, and the worst part is, given the dire scenario we are in, I would be forced to 1000% back him over the board. He would use the youth, those youth players would dramatically improve on the ball, I absolute detest the football he produces, but we are in a now or never scenario regarding promotion and potentially administration.
I really hope we avoid him, but he would probably be less of a risk than quite a few of the managers at this sort of level. Our best chance of avoiding Martin is him turning us down.
Can't see him wanting to come here in League One when he didn't in the Championship.

By that reckoning, I look forward to the 3 year deal

Gonna be honest, I’ve been drinking in the pub watching this game on my phone. The two limoncello spritz’ have had more impact on my mood than that Leicester performance. We were so shit, my dad who stays till the end regardless of the result left at half time… There’s no way we’re bouncing back from this relegation in a season
Sounds like he doesn't stay there till the end regardless if he ****ing leaves at half time
