  1. Sounds good, thanks! I like the sound of the attorney games.
  2. Finally bought a Switch after pondering about getting one for some time. I am a very casual gamer, haven't bought anything new since our Nintendo Wii many many years ago, but do like to play for a bit from time to time, particularly in the winter months as I hate the cold and stay indoors more. Any recommendations for must check out games? Its hard for me to say which type of games I like as my previous must plays have been tomb raider, mario and wii sports..! The package I bought comes with Super Mario Wonder and I will definitely be investing in Hogwarts Legacy.
  3. Not quite our experience…
  4. I went to China for two weeks in 2016 and traveled round the country a fair bit. I really enjoyed it, but definitely the most challenging place I have been to from a backpacking perspective!

So sorry to hear this. It’s over 20 years ago now, but I can still remember vividly the anguish as an 18 year old after my mum had suddenly died, and then at Christmas a few weeks later having my gran get confused and thinking that I was my mum. I wasn’t as present in my grans life as I should have been as a consequence of that which I do feel bad about, but as I have got older I have given myself more grace in understanding it was just a terrible situation anyone would struggle with.
  6. This fixture never disappoints
  7. Thats good to hear it’s an option just to put on a veneer. It sounds a lot less disruptive! Definitely want to pay to get someone to do it, otherwise it will never get done..!
  8. Thanks. I think best to get someone in to take a look then. Doors can make such a massive difference to the appearance of a space, so I want to do it well
  9. Thanks. Sounds like it could be risky. Wondering if it might be better to stick to just replacing the doors and painting the frames then
  10. We really need to get our downstairs internal doors replaced. One door keeps on falling off its hinges and another gets stuck whenever you close it. Not to mention they are really quite ugly doors that were here before we moved in! Ideally I would like to get the frames replaced too and then new skirting board in the hallway to match, to have a high quality finish all round. The wood on the frames at the moment is poor quality and not very well finished. having googled a bit though and also having had the thoughts of a carpenter, I am a bit concerned about opening up a whole can of worms with things like damaged plaster if we were to replace the whole lot. Any thoughts?! Anyone done anything similar?
  11. My cat doesn't react at all to fireworks. The same can't be said for the hoover though...
  12. Pretty brutal that one.
  13. Likewise after a stream if anyone can help
