KDH needs to continue to get minutes over Soumare. Looks so motivated to make an impression. Soumare does have the occasional pass in him, but for the most part he plays like he's seeing the pitch on tape delay.

I don't think its fair to blame Tielemans too much for the performances. When his form was at its best, we were playing attacking football with maddison alongside him. Now he is forced to shoulder the offensive burden with a midfield trio comprised of two more defensively oriented midfielders. The opposition has done a great job focusing him out as they don't need to worry about Ndidi or Hamza starting the attack. I think we need to move Maddison back deeper and place Harvey back on the wing or bring in Praet for Hamza.

You could almost tangibly see the weight came off his shoulders after scoring. Also his leaping ability should be utilized more on these corners now that slab is gone. He can get up.

I love the aggressiveness we brought today. Completely ditched the possession style in the first half and went back to what won us the league. I think its great to be flexible in your offensive approach, but where we are right now as a club in terms of the technical abilities required to successfully play a possession game, i think its best to predominantly play the counter attack. The lethality of our pace is very clear, and the possession style doesn't seem to let that attribute flourish. Love the approach to today's match, love Puel's development of the squad. Lets keep it going.
