Did we bottle it? On their day both Man City and Liverpool would beat us but why were we so abject in both games? You can question Rodgers set up but unforced errors, particularly in the first half tonight made us look like boys v men. Overawed by both teams and the expectation of the fans? Certainly a reality check but I would question the backbone of our team and the lack of fight.

Not as easy, Brighton are a better side under Potter although they don’t have the punch up front. we were well worth the victory, pleased Perez scored, he looks a confidence player. My only concern is if Vardy is injured we may struggle, we are very reliant on one man. Got a parking ticket as well, parking was a nightmare but who cares!

I woke up this morning and wondered whether I’d dreamt it all. Got home at 2am After the 140 mile trip home from the game, traffic a nightmare in southampton. We ran into jonny Evans at the services near Winchester. What a nice bloke, spoke to us and said the main issue was the conditions which were terrible. a complete performance against a poor side but the team spirit is as good as 2015/16 and the quality even better. Harvey Barnes was electric. ive has good and bad times watching the City home and away for over 40 years and last night was one of those special nights, just pleased i’d got my two sons with me to share it.

I’m in Charleston, South Carolina on business and my Uber driver last night called Joe is a wolves fan! I was the first Leicester fan he had met but he knew all about us.

Somebody said there was no atmosphere until we scored. Rubbish! It quietened down at times but there was singing for most of the game, more so second half as we were as poor as them first half. Well done to Cardiff and their fans and stewards, very respectful. I was a very proud LCFC fan yesterday. I am now at Schiphol airport enroute to the USA and a number of people have commented on my city shirt and the tragedy that took place last week.

I think we are good enough to beat teams near the bottom of the table, it was very comfortable at Newcastle and I’m looking for the same at Cardiff.

Puel has been in charge for one year, a long time in football terms. Long enough to know what team to play. I’m not sure he knows. We play well for periods in a game, but that’s all. I don’t think Puel connects with his players, which means he won’t connect with the fans. I don’t think ten games is long enough. However at the moment we are below par. Some reasonable performances at times but no consistency. I would like to be more optimistic but you want managers to inspire and I’m afraid Puel doesn’t inspire.

It’s not going to happen today for us. We haven’t got the nouce to get through them. Maybe Shinji can do it
