So Ayew rescues a point! Who would have thought after he was booed before he came on as sub on Friday. It's really helpful booing your team in game and even more so before they even come off the bench. Actually it's not. F##ing brainless is what it is.

Boro 1-1 Leicester Post Match Thread
East Langton Fox replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just got home to LE16. Showed some spirit tonight and if it hasn't been for Okoli's brain fart we could have won . Good support from the travelling faithful. More of the same on Saturday! -
One of the best performances of the season, gave away a stipid goal, which happens to the best teams and yet there's still people on here not happy. Are you all versions of the whinger who sits near me in the South Stand?

Our front line is non-existent so at the right price, short term it's worth a go.

It was much worse in the eighties. Mostly open terraces and very basic facilities. A lot of grounds have improved significantly since then. I was at Ashton Gate last night. Got a pint very quickly at half time and very short queue for a pee so no complaints from me. apart from the second half on the pitch which was rank 😳

I'm pleased for him. Always gives 100%. Not his fault we paid stipid money for him.

Before a ball was kicked this season the general feeling on here was that we would struggle this season, mid table at best. We are third and have only lost one game. This team is a work in progress and we are showing fight, which we didn't have at all last season. im I am feeling a lot more positive than I was a couple of months ago. Clearly I am in the minority. -
Who was our worst manager and why?
East Langton Fox replied to ramboacdc's topic in Leicester City Forum
Pleat started well. I remember the last game of 87/88 season we won at Middlesbrough after finishing the season well. We were chased out of town after that game and half way down the A1 as it spoilt their promotion party . RVN for me, the only time in all my years when I couldn't wait for the season to end . -
Ex Players - They used to play for us

No, he had some decent games for us which seems to have been forgotten -

I was there at Cardiff, I can't remember his goal. I think it was more about the occasion . -
Home and Away Support/Atmosphere

Great atmosphere tonight and it was pretty good at Charlton. I wasn't at Preston or Huddersfield but it's definitely picking up. -

I remember a great goal at Sheff U midweek, probably a cup game. Apart from that he never delivered consistently. -

As usual some negative stuff on here. Better than last week at Charlton defensively although they were toothless. the players look like they are bothered which is what we want. Marti will play youngsters, again that's what we want . Early days but encouraging nonetheless . -

There were at least 4 occasions where he gave the ball away in key areas. Physically he is strong but today he was a liability -

Talking to some Charlton fans after the game they were pleased with their own performance and expected more from us! I laughed ironically. One moment of class was the difference. Okoli had a shocker, Winks was good in his limited time on and Daka ran hard and achieved very little. We won though, which made the it all worthwhile . -
I'm looking forward to Saturday, if only for it being a new ground for me. Number 73. 🥳

Last time I was at Huddersfield it was the John Smith stadium and Knockaert scored two fantastic goals.

Ever been ejected from a match ?
East Langton Fox replied to VintageFox73's topic in Leicester City Forum
I was refused entry at Bournemouth, bank holiday Monday 1988. I may be one year out. down for the weekend and had some dealings with the local coppers Sunday night. Just a few words of encouragement to get back to my hotel whilst some of the more brazen. Of the City faithful were running amok in town. Anyway 10 pints Monday lunchtime rendered me totally pissed and 2 out of the 5 of us were not let in the away end. So we tried the home end and one of the coppers recognised us from the previous night. We would be arrested if we didn't leave the area immediately so we went to the nearest off-licence (this was the eighties!) and listened to the game on the radio in Dean Park. We win 3-2. Cracking weekend . -
Isn't that what we all thought last time we went down?

Having missed only one home game and seen us away at Walsall, Man U and Brentford I've seen the mostly bad and occasionally good this season. Cooper had lost the players and the crowd. He had to go. The board took a chance on a name with RVN. No Premier League experience and that is now showing. He is learning on the job. We are playing better football than we were under Cooper but without the quality we will inevitably go down . Any business will only be successful if it lead properly and our leaders are failing. Look at Everton, been failing for years. Now that they have been taken over they might have a chance of improving. We wont until there is a complete change at the top.
