Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Begley replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
That wouldn't be too bad a number from a PSR perspective. 35m allowable loss per year, add in Covid losses and then allowable non PSR losses and it wouldn't be difficult to see a 125m loss turn into a profit or at least a very small loss -

Yes, you are allowed to change them. the accounts that were submitted are estimates and not actual accounts but they are the club's best estimate of what the accounts will be. If the club decided to sell a capital asset for 200m between now and the end of the accounting window that would add 200m to this set of accounts and it is perfectably acceptable to change the accounts to reflect this and the charges would be dropped (assuming the discretion is less than 200m) The accounting period the submitted accounts cover has not yet been completed. -

Profit or loss is determined by book value. If book value is 20m then 20m is the breakeven point. Also, MGW's first year of amortisation was the 22/23 season and the 2nd year is the 23/24 season so NF will have amortised 2 years of his contract for this accounting period meaning the book value will be circa 15m. Any amount above 15m would be profit for NF. Obviously, we do not know the nature of the addons which could impact the numbers -
Memory doesn't serve you too well. When our owners bought us we were a Championship club and they said they wanted promotion within 3 years. However, our previous owner, (Tony Xia) said he wanted Champions League within 5 years but ended up with Championship instead

Add Ramsey to that too and the 17m doesn't change

Fulham fans expecting a heavy defeat and can't bring themselves to turn up to witness it

Villa fan in peace... Where did u get your GK, u have had Ward who is shyte all season? Was he injured?
-
Villa fan in peace... Nacho is a credit to Leicester City Football Club. The vast majority of players go down with the slightest knock, what Nacho did last night was amazing, I hope that assist proves to be for the point that keeps you up, he deserves it. And then after his heroics of a one-legged pass, his actions while he hobbled off the pitch, clearly in pain, just shows the class of the man. He deserves a very special welcome when he turns out again for Leicester, which will hopefully be this season

When Villa were nearly relegated in 17/18, Deano got a point away to West Ham on the last day to keep us in the PL. He can do it
-
Deano has never lost to Everton as a manager. At Villa, we always had the upper hand. I think his record was W3 D2 L0
-
In his 3 years managing us (Villa), I can only recall one single game where he played 3 CBs, and that was forced upon him through injuries.
-
You guys do not look like a team going to be relegated
-
There was a fair bit of talk that Deano wanted to take Nacho to Villa when he was our manager.
-
Come on lads, get another 2 and take a point. (Villa Fan in peace...)

Dean Smith New Interim Manager - Official

Is the role of a good coach to get players with the potential to play better. If a new coach just goes along with what the fans or social media think then surely he is the wrong man for the job -

It won't happen. U will be one up front. He will convert someone to a winger. He will get a player playing behind the striker. Maybe Vardy dropping back. He has lost his pace so maybe he can become a different type of player -

I like Deano, he was brilliant for Villa, he is not perfect and needed to leave when he did but he is a very decent coach and JT and Shaky with him make a good team. I really hope he does what he can do and save u guys from the drop. -

That is true. When JT left our defense got worse and we went backward. JT and DS together are a great team and they clearly get on well together, u can see it in the body language when they are together, they respect eachother -

Only once in his time at Villa did Deano play 5 at the back and in that game we started with no strikers and had none on the bench (we had a few injuries at the time). Dean plays 4-3-2-1/4-3-3. -

That is guaranteed with Deano, JT and Shaky -

He came to us (Villa) albeit in the Championship and we looked like midtable crap and he got us promoted and won 10 on the spin. This was after sacking Bruce because we were so bad and couldn't get a win -

And did the penny drop that Deano got a group of players that had never played in the PL to avoid relegation? Those players came from the Championship, Div 2 in Spain, Scotland (not one of the big 2) and the Arsenal reserves who spent 8 years out on loan in the lower divisions. -

I am obviously not an ITK but I am guessing that JT is coming on board to sort out your defense rather than his integrity as a person. With a team in the bottom three and facing relegation, I think the priority should be focused on the team's performance -

He was excellent at Brentford when Frank was his assistant.
