  1. Where is this guy?
  2. Not at all, I agree with the decision to get rid of cooper, odd timing but still. I just don’t understand the demand for RVN. Doesn’t make logical sense to me.
  3. With Manchester United two of which were against us? He didn’t win the Dutch league yet Steve McLaren won the league with FC Twente . .
  4. Neither is Jimmy Carr. Strange argument.
  5. Sorry how were his credentials better than Cooper?
  6. I do not understand why in the position we are RVN would be approached and he would accept. Steve McLaren won the Dutch league, it’s hardly a barometer to go by. His interim at united was ok but remember two games were against us. seems such an unnecessary risk.
  7. Moyes has the experience but looking at our squad I just don’t think he fits in terms of his style, that’s not saying I’m a snob of more direct football, just don’t think we have the players for it. Potter I think is a better fit on that basis.
  8. And therein lies the problem. Everyone knows what they don’t want but no one knows what they want. Who’s a realistic, better manager than Cooper put there right now who would take the job, bearing in mind we probably can’t afford to buy out contracts?
  9. Maresca passed too much and was boring, Cooper is useless, sorry what are we after?
  10. Don’t you think useless is a little harsh? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not convinced, we haven’t put in a 90 minute performance and have generally started games badly, but useless I think is too harsh. He came in expecting the worst points deduction ever and operated in a window with that hanging over. If we finish where we are now we would be delighted no?
  11. I mean this source has no substance whatsoever but thinking about why would they even consider a return. they are the two players that arguably without the gamble that we took on both neither will have ended up with the honours they have achieved. I don’t believe Mahrez was being tracked by anyone, even us, was Walsh over there looking at someone else? Kante I believe was being tracked but many were put off by his on the ball abilities. So principle wise, I could see why they might look at us, for one last EPL hurrah, but financially and lifestyle wise neither make any sense. One that we can dream about.
  12. One side of the coin says im not too bothered, if he feels that way it won’t be good for team morale and he’s hardly maldini. The second side of the coin wonders what monstrosity, if any, Rudkin could rustle Up in four days and would be just be better with Wout staying and being grumpy.
  13. Sorry all I’ve no inside knowledge of the club and purely tweeted it for complete banter as to be honest it’s the only thing keeping me sane during one of what I think is the worst periods under the current senior management at least. Apologies, I didn’t expect it to be a source quoted on here but I hope all the FT community forgive me. Genuinely you keep me smiling through some bad times. Peace out.
  14. They are scheduling a press conference for 3.30pm and in the next hour you will see that - I don’t know if it’s about him but I think he’s gone genuinely, this is mad.
  15. I think you will be regards ndidi. To think we would have got someone as capable on loan or for a transfer fee <20m is mad. Get him doing what he does best and he’s one of the best.
  16. This is a major knock back, the guy is class, honestly. Why do we continue with Rudkin?
  17. This lad is so talented. I do know people who work the Central Europe area and said Daka won’t cut it and well, when I posted in here I was lambasted, no comment now. honestly this is a steal what on earth are we doing
  18. Why is Rudkin still here? He’s so inept. I just can’t get my head around it anymore.
  19. Lol Monday was what three working days ago we don’t get things done within a week.
  20. This would be an incredibly good signing.
  21. Fair enough - sorry I don’t know who Alan Nixon is. Fair point. plus I didn’t know they were cut from the same cloth. My knowledge of Buonanotte is limited.
  22. No entitlement here. Just confusion over our strategy, buy young and develop, fine. Buy established and hope we stay up, fine. we are going from Ayew, to Argentinan youngsters, one seemingly on a loan with no buy option. I know we are not what we were, our demise has been as speedy as our rise, but it’s fair to question our purchasing strategy as currently it makes no sense and even before we have kicked a ball Cooper is making observations about us not getting things over the line. I think people just want to understand what the plan is. I think the major worry is, we don’t have one.
  23. I don’t disagree. if the clubs strategy is to bring in young developing players who withstanding a miracle will be championship ready in a year, that’s fine, sad but fine. This doesn’t seem to have a strategy behind it. It’s more that than me thinking we are better than we are.
