  1. We thought he would be the Messiah when he came back from injury last time but in reality he was a shadow of his former self and got slammed on here for his very poor performances. So I would not expect a saviour in Ricardo, as good a player that he was.
  2. It doesn't take a month to realise that Soumare / Skipp / Daka are not the future for this club.
  3. Im just a bit concerned on how much actual research he has done on our club before his appointment. Surely he's studied last season and seen the glaring flaws in the team (Soumare/Skipp/Daka) ok it was against prem league sides but all the same it is obvious they are not good enough. So to see him setting his midfield the engine room of the team with Soumare and Skipp is absolutely shocking. That's a big red flag for me. Obviously its 2 games so stupid to right him off yet, but if that pattern continues then he's orchestrating his own downfall.
  4. Standby for this s***show!!
  5. Wow i didn't realise that 😳 thanks.
  6. Whose the 7th im struggling? I see Nelson, Alves, Thomas, Monga, McAteer, Choudray, ??
  7. Well that first half experiment was a disaster so please bring out the real Leicester City second half.
  8. To be fair Soumare best player for us so far. Ar least he's trying to create going forward and every promising move has been started by him.
  9. Wheres this nightmare Nelson lad come from!
  10. I've not heard Alves mentioned once!!
  11. He was a good keeper but certainly not outstanding. He was shocking after the injury break and for me was too easily beaten with long shots. He wasn't the tallest keeper either which I think showed at times. He won't go down as one of city's best (but we have quite a high benchmark for keepers!) but he was adequate for what we needed during the very short period he was here.
  12. "He arrives following an impressive spell at Queens Park Rangers, where he took over in October 2023, guiding the London side from the Championship relegation zone to an 18th-placed with five wins in the final eight games of his first season and improving on that again last term." Wow, it really hits home how far we have fallen reading that. Depressing.
  13. Interesting view from QPR fan that was below this article: So much of this is just wrong. fluid formations & Cruyff inspiration etc...? You need to read comments that Hammarby supporters are telling us on our own pages. They see the games & state he plays a defensive line up which isn't 3-2-5, but he wants us to play out from the back when we have hardly anyone there in that formation lol. You also claim what he did last season, but it's noticeable that you state nothing about being a lot worse this season. We needed experience & we got the Spanish Ainsworth :
  14. Hmm! I feel a wind up here? I think we both know i meant my original comment to which your response referred. Hey, never mind its a hot day let's just stay cool 😎 👍
  15. No idea I never used the word least in my comment.
  16. Think you mixed uo the word likely with least.
  17. Is everybody forgetting we are likely to be hampered with a 12 point (possibly more) deduction and possibly transfer embargo etc. There really is no coming back from that no matter what wonder manager you could bring in, so we are looking at mid to lower table finish which you would take given those constraints, so why would an ambitious manager like Rohl who has already said he wants to work with a big club want this falling sword.
  18. Thanks for that considered and intellectual response 👏
  19. To be fair he did show a few quality moments when he was giving the chance but for me he's far too weak as a footballer and lost out in the challenge too often turning a promising attack into a counter attack for the opposition. Premier league might suit him better as they have more time and space on the ball, but certainly in the championship he would be caught out by the physicality of it all. Good luck to him though.
  20. Their 'important money papers' 😆 classic.
  21. Now just go you absolute disaster from start to relegation finish - nothing more to say.
  22. Yes but we hammered Southampton. Just saying.
  23. Where's all the haters now. It was always going to take time for RVN to stamp his identity on this team but now he has wow what a team and what a performance. Shame there isnt 10 games to go as survival would be just a formality.
  24. I say stick with RVN next season. What a performance what a manager.
  25. I'm not sure what part of that strategy you think 'makes sense'
