  1. Easily our best first half under cooper. Ayew, Faes, JJ, FB all good 45s, Okoli decent too
  2. Faes has had a good game so far
  3. I’m not a conspiracy person but it is getting a bit weird…
  4. Ayew is a getting fouled specialist I get the argument for brining him on if we are winning games. He just gets you up the pitch and takes the pressure off so regularly.
  5. Justin assist, 3 goal contributions in 2 games from the attacking full back in the system that supposedly doesn’t work, from the player that should supposedly be dropped…
  6. When the ball goes down our right out of possession, Kristensen and Mav come in field so far, looks like we are vacating about 1/3 or more of the pitch and leaving massive space on our left side, we get sucked into almost half the width of the pitch at times…
  7. Vards looks like he has lost another yard of pace
  8. He can’t do anything right in many people’s eyes on here. Still think we will lose this one though, watched a fair bit of Bournmouth and they have looked really decent going forward, and we have been pants at the back.
  9. 1-3 to Bournemouth. Semenyo and Evanilson to bag.
  10. Ayew has been alright, and Abdul’s decision making has been all over the place, so I’m not surprised… though I’d probably still prefer Fatawu in a game we need to win. Hopefully he gets half an hour against tired legs.
  11. I actually like this, Winks doesn’t deserve his place at the moment
  12. Would love to be wrong, but suspect Bournemouth will score at least 3 today. Good, attacking side, top manager. Semenyo has really stepped up and Evanilson looks like he has got up to speed in this league quite quickly.
  13. If it makes anyone feel worse, we are also bottom on attacking metrics, despite having scored the most goals in the bottom half. Also note how high Bournemouth are here…
  14. We have the worst chances conceded, big chances conceded and xG conceded per 90 in the league. Everyone around the bottom there with us has had slightly harder fixtures than us so far. The only measure we aren’t bottom on is xG conceded per 90 when you exclude pens. Hermansen is top of the league for goals prevented and saves.
  15. One good game and people on here comparing him to Kane…
  16. This is one of those where we have to be going for the win. A draw would be an okay result, they are a good side. But it’s at home, the wins have got to come from somewhere… fancy this one, heads should be up a bit after doing fairly well vs Arsenal. Need to tighten up at the back though.
  17. There was a similar clamour for him to go from their fans around this time last season, they changed their minds pretty sharpish once results picked up. That won’t happen this time though, imo.
  18. Winks has been a massive disappointment for me, and his body language has been poor. Don’t hate the idea of 343. For the record I’m on the fence RE Cooper. We’ve been more competitive than I expected, and I think the reaction on here is massively over the top, but there are some clear problems. With the international break and IMO criminally slow transfer window, Cooper has had not very much time at all with the squad to build any sort of system, given until about a week before the window closed we didn’t have a single non-defensive midfielder, then key members of the squad fecked off on international duty. This next month now is absolutely key, without a few wins from this run, he’ll have to go to give us a chance to stay up id imagine. Some away games coming up at relegation rivals though, it will not be easy.
  19. We have scored more goals than Ipswich. We have scored more goals than anyone in the bottom half, and a few teams in the top half. We have a good record in attack and have scored in every game. However, only Everton and Wolves are worse at the back than us, and if not for Mads we would have the most goals conceded imo. You could make a good argument that sorting out defensive organisation is more of a priority than trying to focus on playing more front foot and leaving yet more holes to exploit… especially given our place in the food chain these days, which is firmly at the foot of the table. Would snap your hand off for 17th any day, the gap between the leagues is a chasm now.
  20. We have scored the most goals in the bottom half of the league, and have scored in every game. Despite a couple of results that is encouraging imo. We have also scored as many as, or more than, three of the top ten.
  21. Yeah both full backs had good games
  22. thought Ndidi had another excellent game
  23. Cooper marching up to 4th official after 7mins announced, in his face “WHERE THE **** HAS THAT COME FROM? EH? WHERE THE **** HAS THAT COME FROM?”
