Forest, with one of the best defences in the league, have restricted us to one shot on target? Who’d have thought it. Handing them three goals is always going to lead to defeat vs them at the moment.

All three goals have been stupid individual errors, sometimes the players are to blame. This is the lineup and more or less system people on here have been begging for, and yet arguably our worst attacking performance so far, and riddled with stupid defensive mistakes.

Forest are no mugs, especially at the back, one of the best defences in the league. They’ll shut us out.

Moreno has been poor for them and is on a yellow, so whilst Fatawu has been a bit rubbish I wouldn’t take him off yet.

Dropping Winks seems to have had the desired effect and upped his performance level, fair play Steve.

He was also poor in pre season, pretty much every time I’ve watched him this season I’ve not been impressed. Not sure why.

I like Okoli but he is no Vestergaard, we miss that top quality passing out from the back when we play this inverted system. He is so key to it.

Fatawu decision making is the reason he hasn’t been starting games, he does the wrong option too often, and you can’t get away with it at this level

A negative and uber defensive manager who’s team has scored more goals than anyone outside the top 7 aside from Brentford? Our defensive fragility is a big problem, and can be fairly criticised, but we are the best attacking side of those near the bottom. We have scored double the goals of the other newly promoted sides. Mads is a big plus, and has prevented many likely goals already, without him our goals conceded would look far worse imo. If we can sort out the defence and continue to score at this rate we should have a good chance of staying up.

Outside of the top 7 we have outscored everyone except Brentford. Double the goals of the other newly promoted sides, impressive imo given we look far from the finished article.
