That and them having a squad with a market value of about a billion quid and FFP rules designed to benefit them long term at the expense of clubs like ours.

Give Guardiola the job and he’d still get battered by Arsenal with our current squad. Premier League has many predictable games and a defeat here, at Man City, at Liverpool etc. is more or less inevitable for any promoted side. The gap is far too big to the championship these days, imo every promoted side will go back down again this season, and comfortably so.

5-7 points, optimistically, hovering in or just above the relegation zone. Those two away games at Saints and Ipswich are gonna be tough. Those home teams know they have to win those games to stay up, will be massive battles both of them.
