  1. Kristiansen is beyond s**t, but this is still OTT. Give if a few more weeks at least!
  2. Oh God, I have been sick of us so many times over the years. Doesn't mean I switch to supporting 'effing Man City!!! We are all different.
  3. Comments like this bug me. If it's in our blood we don't get to change. Does not mean we have to be bl***y happy clappers all the time!
  4. "Disaster for academy"... crikes. That's such a crazy take after a handful of matches isn't it.
  5. Marginal decisions these. If they think he IS good enough, we absolutely should not move him on! He has time on his side. Think KDH.
  6. "Deserve" is where we differ. He has to find a way. I completely think he has talent, and I'd love for him to own the shirt for years... but "deserve" is too strong I reckon. It IS harder for defenders though. You don't sub a defender to change up a game. Tough gig.
  7. Too early to say. He has talent. If he's good enough he'll force his way in... but he has to make it happen.
  8. Remind me where he comes from?
  9. It's way too early to judge Marti, Steve, but respect your right to do so
  10. Football is tough, particularly for youngsters. You have to take the limited chances you get. We saw the cup game. Truth is Ben hasn't grabbed the shirt yet. Nobody is ruling him out. Honestly, limited at the top level as they are, after our wingers the biggest strength in our team is Vesty and Faes. They're (half!) a level above this league. (Obviously too slow to play together against top forwards.)
  11. Not sure if joking? Is this a "whoosh" moment for me?!
  12. I don't agree with this. Ayew absolutely *isn't* good enough for us at CF - too slow. Hopefully Carranza will be a better option, but let's see if he steps forward.
  13. I want to see more of Carranza, and I want to see as much of Jeremy as possible before he b*****s off to Liverpool or City... but I'm prepared to be patient today haha!
  14. Nelson hasn't done enough to earn selection, nor is there a real reason to change the defence. If he's good enough his time will come. Soumare's pretty cack, but I'd pick him over Skipp if JJ is needed upfield. If Carranza is any good he'll take Ayew's place, but he's got to show something off the bench. Call it an incentive. Mav's not our biggest problem by any means. He could win this for us. Sure Jeremy could reach an entirely different level, but we do need to be careful with such a young lad.
  15. Come on City, we've got enough to win this. Looking forward to seeing Jeremy and Carranza in the second half.
  16. He's still so young. We have to take care with him. We all know his future is elsewhere, but it doesn't change the basic point: we can't run him into the ground! For one I'm determined to enjoy Jeremy while I can. He's wonderful
  17. While I'd be excited if Carranza was in for Ayew, I think it's a fair selection. (FWIW, while Mavididi ballsed up the key chance, I don't think Monga gets in there in the first place.)
  18. Thought Europe was "going to hell"? Great so far
  19. Ah, so the army frisk people, like on the way into a ground? Reckon Showsec would do it for cheaper Sorry if this sounds facetious... it's just that if there was an easy solution to "controlling" irregular migration we'd already be doing it
  20. You didn't think this through, did you What would you like the army to do? Shoot people? Harsh words?
  21. Well, it's about votes, money and influence isn't it. Their voter base don't like change, particularly if it comes at any personal cost. If oil/gas companies are waving money around, someone's got to take it?! The RW press are mouthpieces of the oil lobby, and the Tories are utterly beholden to their press. They're desperate to suck up to Trump and cronies. Personally think the drive for energy independence should be easy to sell to flag waving folks... but there are many reasons why the Tories won't try. Absolutely none are with the good of our country in mind.
  22. No it is messenger RNA
  23. Brilliant. Leicestershire, la la la!
  24. Couldn't give two hoots about Cov
  25. He's probably still buzzing from the Tommy march
