The name Nigel should only be bestowed on the very greatest of humans, not that tw*t

Challinor would be an outstanding choice. Stockport are an extremely well-drilled team and they've recruited well - if expensively - at the level. I'd love it if he could coax Ollie Norwood* into spending a season with us haha (*Presumably the only reason Norwood's bumming around in L1 is for a hefty pay cheque, so I guess he'd be open to persuasion! He's a cheat code at that level) Russell Martin is however a t**t, so I suppose this is a likelier outcome

Can you explain this "Spuds" thing? Suggests there's a reason to care?

Could we go into Administration next season?

But if KP pump in the necessary money, we'll get a monumental points deduction. Snookered by years of god-awful "leadership" -
And to be clear also, I am assuming that *even with contractually-allowed reductions in salaries due to two relegations* we are STILL paying PL wages to sh1t players. We're that level of f****d up Put it another way: I doubt there's hardly a player on a normal Championship salary, let alone L1! If and when we see the L1 accounts it'll be quite an eye opener!

Don't think even Rudders has Richie Bellend on his list. Nor should anyone on here!
-
Ah! A newspaper noticed. Turns out the amount of people trying to cross into UK is directly proportional to those having crossed into *Europe*. Unless devoid of capability to reason, one realises this cannot be addressed from UK perspective without closer European collaboration, and a bit of thought to developments in the wider world

In answer to this question, search past Man City coaching staff and place bets on that basis

I'm not convinced we have a transfer kitty of any extent at all. Total guesswork until it happens. To me, looks like you are an eternal optimist and post *anything* that sounds vaguely positive. Unfortunately lived experience has been the polar opposite Back in the real world, still playing PL wages for sh1t players in League One, with the most inept leadership in football history and dire financial times for KP. Hope I'm wrong though, and you are right!

Tolaj's a very good player at L1 level: a real handful
-
Just finished one place above relegation. True to form, tries to blame it on anyone other than himself. He's a bellend. No idea why he keeps cropping up on here. Is it just name recognition?
-
And I thought it was just me getting more inept in my older years! They are awful
-
Last I heard, he *owned* the party? He won't wriggle out of this one, and I bet there's more where it came from. 'Recall petition' territory...is there a Martin Bell to kick him out?!
-
It's a weird modern trend. No idea why it's gotten more common
-
Hmm, it's always the ones you most expect isn't it
-
Got to love the specificity of the aggravations in your post bud

Not checked, but assume Farage and all of his corrupt and treacherous Russian/Trump propagandist mates have already made their entry to this thread? Utter poison
-
Haha, no point denying that one pal!

Polanski's going to have to deal with his anti-Semite entrists very firmly and quickly if he wants to have any chance of keeping up the Greens' positive trajectory. Personally suspect they want the votes so will equivocate towards their ultimate collapse, a la Jezza...

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2026/apr/29/revealed-nigel-farage-was-given-undisclosed-5m-by-crypto-billionaire-in-2024 Thoughts? Personally think this is a very, very big deal indeed...

So, so upsetting to read about the stabbings in Golders Green. Utterly dismayed that Jewish people feel unsafe in the UK. While I hope more can be done to provide security, I wish we had better ways to tackle the vile racism that lies behind the violence

They're not being forced not to go. If they decide it is not for them any more, c'est la vie - quite literally. There are lots of things I can't do any more! Either that or turn a blind eye...the choice is theirs. (There are things I don't like to hear: German bomber songs etc. I choose to ignore and to stay away from the perps.) Younger fans however *should not* have to change the way they behave, within bounds of rules, legality etc. You are describing *exactly* the mentality that has turned our club into an anodyne shadow of it's former self. It's why our ground is dead: far too much accomodation and active encouragement of those who want to sit there mute. FWIW I bet you find that most younger folks are extremely helpful and accomodating to older folks if the situation arises.
-
Ah, that figures...
-
If there are legitimate reasons to be intimidated, the club they're visiting should be able to help. If however they just don't like boisterous or edgy behaviour from fans on a big day out, suggest away days may not be for them.

Good to hear. Who is it?
