Come on City, we've got enough to win this. Looking forward to seeing Jeremy and Carranza in the second half.
-
He's still so young. We have to take care with him. We all know his future is elsewhere, but it doesn't change the basic point: we can't run him into the ground! For one I'm determined to enjoy Jeremy while I can. He's wonderful
-
While I'd be excited if Carranza was in for Ayew, I think it's a fair selection. (FWIW, while Mavididi ballsed up the key chance, I don't think Monga gets in there in the first place.)
-
Thought Europe was "going to hell"? Great so far
-
Ah, so the army frisk people, like on the way into a ground? Reckon Showsec would do it for cheaper Sorry if this sounds facetious... it's just that if there was an easy solution to "controlling" irregular migration we'd already be doing it
-
You didn't think this through, did you What would you like the army to do? Shoot people? Harsh words?

Well, it's about votes, money and influence isn't it. Their voter base don't like change, particularly if it comes at any personal cost. If oil/gas companies are waving money around, someone's got to take it?! The RW press are mouthpieces of the oil lobby, and the Tories are utterly beholden to their press. They're desperate to suck up to Trump and cronies. Personally think the drive for energy independence should be easy to sell to flag waving folks... but there are many reasons why the Tories won't try. Absolutely none are with the good of our country in mind.

No it is messenger RNA

Brilliant. Leicestershire, la la la!

Couldn't give two hoots about Cov

He's probably still buzzing from the Tommy march
-
Isn't it just. Or winning a penalty in his trademark manner haha
-
Proper excited to see Jamie back on the pitch. Come on Vards, let's see a cheeky game-winning poacher's finish!
-
On the basis of the first half, Vards can expect a similar level of service to last season!
-
True. Oxford and Cambridge must be used to being called "Tory b******s", which to my mind is as big an insult as I can imagine. Like genuinely traumatic haha
-
This country would be in inordinately better shape if the overlap was higher!

Is this view common in Ashby? But agree on wanting a win tomorrow! Since I'm feeling in a good mood after the cricket, I will offer an explanation for my disbelief at the above. Regardless of your personal views on tweets (which seem to me mild compared to much on the horror show that is Twitter) I'm not sure the football club has much relationship to the University. Oxford's a big place with more than a few local residents! And the university is one of our country's foremost assets. Something to be proud of, if you're a patriotic type. And the Union is *not* the university! I'd agree that the Oxford Union has an extremely chequered past!

On the tragic murder in the US, just want to say how impressed I am by the folks on here who haven't jumped to conclusions about the killer or their 'ideology'. Kudos, folks ;-) FWIW there is *much* more to discover before firm conclusions can be drawn. Hopefully the occupant of the White House will learn this lesson before civil war breaks out.

This is terrible. Hope the victims pull through. Thoughts with them and their families.

Terrible regardless of whoever was shot. Sadly this'll give Trump the pretext for all kinds of grim stuff.

How Do We Make the King Power a Fortress Again?
Clogger_ replied to Ryanlcfc3's topic in Leicester City Forum
If by "fortress" the OP means an intimidating atmosphere, clearly there needs to be fewer passive fans in the ground, or at least fewer passive fans in the more vocal areas - principally the "Kop". As you can't achieve this by denying access, the only ways this'll happen are (1) relocations, which we know won't happen at scale under KP (2) a period of being crap, meaning STH renewals will decrease. As (2) isn't a strategy, let's get rid of KP and move forward from there. -
Can't argue that the RW press have provided a fertile environment for such views from "LW feminists" and religious types, among others. For sure, feel emboldened to speak freely on this. As with the nutjob who this thread is about, the law is there to make sure that lines are not crossed. I'm sure nobody is happy for others look at them as a "bigot"... but folks are not going to wish that one away. As with "justifiable concerns" about boats etc, they can continue to look to those with a similar worldview for support.

Wout Faes (Besiktas interest, Fabrizio Romano)
Clogger_ replied to jonny_wright's topic in Transfer Talk
Just think the hardcore anti-Wouts on here are either blinded by irrational factors, or have *hilariously bad* ability to judge the relative merits of our players. Having sat in our crowd for many decades I know it's a combination of both ;-) I'll leave it now, but this thread does give me a chuckle. Keep it going lads! FWIW if Wout doesn't leave I expect to see him in the starting line up post-haste.
