IMO it's clear that US wants out ASAP, ideally but not necessarily with a cosmetic Trump-dictated 'deal'. Trump's right about one thing: they're going to have to fight it out. I think everyone knows this. And I don't even think it's hidden that Trump is using poor Ukraine as cover to engage on economics with Putin. Hey ho.
