  1. Rudkin is still here
  2. Mahrez and prime Lloyd Dyer on the wings
  3. On board with this. Strong, a handful. Potential to keep improving. Immediately improves our team
  4. Preach. And to be clear, I'd never dream of defending Vesty, Kristiansen, Soumare, BDCR, Ayew, Daka, Skipp and so many more as they are so sh1t they are not worth the effort.
  5. Hey, eventually we'll cycle through to another manager who doesn't pick Wout as first choice out of the available options. We'd all agree it'd be best if they were non-stupid and exceptionally successful! In that event, your bias will be confirmed ;-)
  6. Agree Craig. It is truly amazing that so many of our supporters cannot make an objective assessment of a player vs other options, and are triggered by their body language!
  7. Yes, all bar Enzo were crap, but that doesn't explain why they all selected Wout! *All of our professional football managers* disagree with you hardcore anti-Wouts!
  8. OnlyOneCity - nobody is criticising anyone for not booing. There *is* a level of criticism of "supporters" who turn up, contribute *nothing at all* by way of support during a game, then *mindlessly applaud* the team off the pitch regardless of the performance on show. Absolute shells of fans. And the ones who mindlessly support our King Power owners regardless of what they do at our club are just plain weird. "Happy clappers" works fine as shorthand for the above.
  9. No, it's an accurate description of folks who mindlessly applaud ineptitude and failure - **mindlessly applaud**
  10. And when he starts for Marti...? Or if (heaven forbid!) someone pays a surprisingly decent fee for Faes?! Look, I'm not looking to overstate the quality of a player who is at best "decent", just giving an objective assessment. I think some of you didn't like his attitude from early days, and confirmation bias has been at play from that point onwards.
  11. If managers were in the frame, Brendan wins this hands down
  12. Lenny - good guy, massively rated him. Should not be discussed in this thread!
  13. Yeah, but we all kind of knew he was good! And he was obviously a nice chap from day one! No issue supporting Wes Alan Rodgers on the other hand would definitely qualify, but never rated him haha
  14. But the goal is to win matches, no? Vibes don't win matches! No need to point out that Wout has not helped us to win many matches. But frankly we'd still have been relegated last year with prime Maldini at the back! We were sh1t
  15. You lot are so triggered by Wout! If he's so crap, why is he first choice for every manager?
  16. Why is this question so hard to answer?! Reckon it's because unless you're weird it's *hard* to dislike someone you don't really know, and even harder to be reluctant to rate them in the context of doing well for your team! So the reasons fall into the "genuine" (e.g. lack of effort, not making the most of ability/chances, wanting out, criminality) and the utter BS (jealously, rivalry, subconscious bias)! And they have to actually be good!
  17. No problems nowadays, not a sniff. Back then as a younger man I carried a bigger chip on my narrower shoulders. Like many "northerners", probably comes from an in-baked inferiority complex!
  18. From the same era, thought hard about Oakley, but decided I never really rated him
  19. I honestly don't get why so many of you have a deep personal aversion to Wout. For sure he's a bit moody, and he seems a bit too eager to criticise his teammates. Do you really blame him for wanting out of here?! FFS I almost do, and I've been a supporter for half a century! Is it the funky haircut?
  20. Got a feeling Cottee qualified based on my personal feelings about our cockney friends at that time!
  21. Thought about Danny, but I didn't feel "reluctant" to rate him. Very happy to rate him, in fact. Basically a sour type, someone hard to like, but also hard to truly dislike
  22. Imagine hating Knockaert?! Never rated Gallagher
  23. Savage - obviously a bell, but doesn't meet the criteria for me because I never really rated him. Likewise Slimani
