Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Whys it always me replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
No one can defend this anymore. I genuinely believe the tea lady would get similar results -
For 20 minutes we were the better side and we didn’t take our chances. Then the palace manager made a tweak and we offered **** all really. That’s the difference between a half decent manager and a shit one. Let’s be clear palace were shit and were there for the taking but we ****ed it up. RVN subs in that game were also beyond a joke.
-
Hold on for 20 minutes in that game we were far away the better side and should have been out of sight. Palace manager makes a tactical tweak knowing we were destroying them and all of a sudden we were then shite. What do our manger do to respond……absolutely **** all. RVN is clueless what him on the sidelines it’s desperate stuff. Stop defending him he’s lost 7 on the spin and got a grand total of 4 points since he started with us. Cooper was absolutely awful but did better with what we have. I’m not saying we have a decent squad we are absolutely shit, but do I think a half decent manager could have produced better results than RVN…..yep,100%. Rudkin and the board are equally culpable for this shit show but let’s not forget the head of recruitment who seems to be getting off Scot free. Martyn glover has been a shit show other than a few players he’s mostly found us shite players.
-
Well first of all one of our most creative players in facundo would start ahead of ayew. His subs were a joke he brings on skip who’s is worse than winks and takes off bilal one of our most creative players for macateer. That’s no slight on the players it was just poor decision making by the manager and the fans lets him know so I’m not alone in this thinking. Stop defending him we’ve lost 7 league game on the spin that is unacceptable at any level of football.
-
I don’t understand how you can defend him. Lost 7 league games on the spin made us look a worse side than we were under cooper. Despite injuries and everything everyone else is spouting the vast majority of the fans would not have picked that starting line up and the subs were beyond a joke. Stop trying to defend him. He’s a shambles the board are a shambles as is the club. I feel sorry for him as he should never have been put in this situation he hasn’t got the skills or experience for this shit show.
-
I’m not entirely sure that’s how it went. The coaching staff felt that bassey was better as a CB but he didn’t want to play there. Turns out this is his best position though as he’s playing there now.

Well if you have heard both sides you are either victor a player who was party to the event/events or a member of HR. Your post earlier suggests that you have a relative that works for the club so something doesn’t add up here. for you to hear both sides you would have to be part of or its purely second hand information where there will be some bias from the person that shares the information with you as that would be there views of the event. The bias I show towards VK if anything is purely based on your version of events, he joined a new club and you suggested he has high standards implying he thought some may be unprofessional or not at the standards he expects. In my view I would absolutely consider this a billy big bollocks attitude as he had done very little in the game at that point. As I keep saying, in any workplace this would not be a way to make yourself popular would it? I can keep going all day on this but for both of us, the rest of the forum and for VKs thread I suggest we agree to disagree as hearsay is not going to help us moving forward.
-
Ok so clearly you are either victor or related to him as you are suggesting you know how he “behaved” in the situation you have stated. If my suspicion is correct then what we are getting is one side of the event. I’m suggesting to go into any workplace and suggest that some work colleagues are not being professional or behaving at the required standard will win you no friends and alienate you from said work colleagues no matter how polite you think you may be when saying it. I have absolutely no issue with victor, he’s a young lad with potential. I have no issue with him calling players out but if he is happy to do that then has to be open to criticism back too. let’s get back on the tread though this is about victor coming back but I just wanted to point out that what you are suggesting happened hasn’t been confirmed and could be hearsay so let’s stop talking about it some of these players have moved on now haven’t they.
-
Unless you are victor or one of the players or a member of LCFC HR team then you literally have no idea so why would I admit something no of us have any idea about? if you are a member of the HR team then I worry about us as a football club even more. what you have suggested happened does not sound like bullying it sounds like victor said some things and some player gave it back which he didn’t like. what I want is what is best for Leicester if that is victor playing then great but as a fan base what we have to stop doing is harping on about stuff we literally have no idea about. Let’s get behind the team whoever the starting line up is.
-
No agenda here, I have no issue with the player and you can see that from my first reply to you today saying we welcome him back. you have your own agenda suggesting he was bullied but have no actual proof other than some suggestion he has high standards and allude that he told they players they didn’t. What a way to alienate yourself in any workplace!
-
Ahh so he gave it billy big bollocks despite not setting the world alight and some players told him some home truths. yep totally sounds like bullying.
-
For the player to come out and say he’s not happy with the atmosphere of the club or something along those lines. He actually said at the end of the last season he wanted to stay and get us promoted which doesn’t sound like a lad the is being bullied does it? He only left because Enzo wanted to play him in a position which he was unhappy to play, both of these are comments he made publicly and can be taken as facts. The suggestion he was bullied by a clique because he took thomas place is laughable. Rodgers was sacked and Smith started with Victor but he had a few rough games and Thomas then got back in the side for the rest of the season. He’s a young lad playing for the danish team, welcome him back and see how he gets on but let’s stop referencing bullying him when we literally have nothing to back this up.
-
I also have a relative that works for the club who says it’s bollocks. Considering this is quite the accusation that is being made we are yet to see any actual evidence that this took place and until we do we can only assume it’s made up.

Luke Thomas to Middlesbrough until the end of the season

As a person who frequents the gym do you also play professional football, training at high intensity and burning thousands of calories a day? I assume the answer is no and for that reason I would suggest you let the professionals who’s job it is within the football clubs along with the player to work out how best to increase their physicality and strength. -

I know you haven’t been his biggest fan over the years but at least your post is measured. I rarely comment nowadays partly because I’m learning to let it go over my head but I do if I feel Luke’s integrity is being questioned. The typical fan has absolutely no idea on what goes on behind the scenes and to question his effort levels is absolutely offensive so thank you for calling this out. Have we ever heard any coach say he doesn’t try? has he ever kicked up a fuss ? absolutely not, he is a Leicester fan like the rest of us. Whilst some may think his shit and that’s absolutely fine, none of us can slag a player off for not doing what we think we should be doing when they may well be doing it. Remember clubs have conditioning coaches who will be working with players on things like this. For a change the majority of the comments are wishing him well and that’s nice to see. Let’s see how he gets on he’s still our player. -
Wigan beat Man City a few years back in the cup these things happen and that’s the beauty of the cup. The point stands that the gulf in class between the two divisions is massive. Burnley pissed the league last year and are being found out this season. We are doing an excellent job in the championship and I would expect us to with the squad we have. If we played this squad in the premier league I personally think we would struggle and this isn’t me being a doom and gloom merchant I’m just being realistic. We give away enough chances to the opposition in this league and if we did that in the prem we would be punished.
-
I’m glad it’s not just me that thinks like this. Hes good no doubt but this division is extremely poor so let’s not run away with ourselves additionally we are doing a massive disservice to Barnes. I see lots of people staffing themselves silly about how great the players are and how great this team is yet forget the gulf in class between the two divisions. We are pissing the league and so we should be with the players we have and well done to them and Enzo for what that have done so far but comparing this team to any team over the last few seasons is bonkers as the standard of the championship is so poor.
-
It amazes me that people try to defend this. This has to be one of the poorest championships in a very long time and we’ve only looked convincing in a couple of games at best despite the talent we have in our squad. enzoball is boring and in my opinion worse than what Rodger’s and Puel dished up as we are playing against much poorer teams. I remember getting hammered after the first pre season game when I said that we looked horrific and didn’t offer much, to be fair that’s been the case in most games this season too. Yes the wins are great and let’s not take that away from enzo but with the squad we have I’d expect any manager to match this. if we continue to play as poorly as we are we will get caught and I’m not sure enzo has the tactics nouse to change things and panic will set in.

Viktor Kristiansen joins Bologna on loan
Whys it always me replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Woah do we actually have any evidence of bulling VK or is this a continuation of someone making something up to fit a narrative that there is 4 young lads causing all of the troubles for Leicester downfall last season? VK had some good games and some poor games like the rest of the squad. Smith continued with VK before opting to use Thomas in the last few games. Are we saying this is because VK was being bullied? Smith came in and made his opinions of the squad and choose what he believed to be his strongest team. As fans we will have a different view on what the best team is. I’m sure we can have this debate about Enzo and his current selections. Last season has gone, only one of the players currently remain out of the “clique” let it go unless anyone has any hard evidence we are just hating on players for no reason. Not all players get on this is fairly common in professional and amateur football but VK being bullied I just don’t see it personally if it was that bad he wouldn’t have come out publicly to say he wanted to stay. I wish him well, he is far too good to not be playing every week as are some of the others players such as JJ. -
Luke Thomas loaned to Sheff Utd

Yep that was me I think so I’m the one that looks silly and I’m his uncle. In all seriousness though I think the time you wrote it he was away with England and was looking forward to returning to Leicester to help the promotion push. As soon as it was clear he wouldn’t get much game time he had to look for a move to get some game time. -

I know. I see a different side of it now and if I’m honest it’s made me fall out of love with football and to some degree Leicester too. It’s a win win situation for the club, he’s under contract so if he does well he can either come back or sell him. If it doesn’t go as well as hoped he still plays and develops for another year with another club picking up the wage. -

He was away with England, doesn’t fit into enzos current plans which he has openly stated and Luke needs and wants to play games so as soon as it was clear he would get limited game time then rather than sitting on the bench or not making the squad he wanted to go out on loan you can’t hammer him for wanting to play football. He’s still contracted to Leicester for a number of years despite what transfer market and the press say. -

He said “looking to get out to get some game time” but some people choose to listen to only the parts they want to share. -
Yep his contract doesn’t end in 2024 he signed a long term contract a number of years ago not sure it was ever announced.
-
Quite the opposite actually he was looking forward to the battle to cement the LB spot only to be thwarted by enzo who doesn’t play this formation.
