I agree there are a select few that absolutely hammer him at times. They know who they are and go very quiet when he puts a few decent performances in but 1 mistake and the keyboard warriors come out and hammer him again. He’s still young and learning being played out of position and times and not making the matchday squads on some occasions too which seems to get overlooked. How he is meant to get any consistency is beyond me but for the last few games at LB and granted against poor opposition he has looked good defensively and also offering more in attack too.

Yes he’s a proper Leicester fan and has supported them all his life along with his family. He used to watch them when he was a youngster in the academy and went to lots of away games

Thomas is the current player a minority love to hammer yes he had a poor first half playing a position he isn’t natural in playing in but with experience he will get there. as @Ric Flair pointed out I thought he was very good in the second half and far more attacking with barnes which is what everyone has been moaning about the last few weeks saying he offers nothing going forward. I agree I’m not sure Saka did a great deal second half and I think I the switch in formation helped us. I mentioned this the other night some people seem to focus on the negatives and only the negatives and fail to see some of the good stuff he does. I would go as far as to say the left side in the second half caused Arsenal more problems the the right side which had everyone’s favourite player Timmy playing. Give the lad a break Rodger’s is throwing him into high pressure games he sees him every day in training so will see lots of stuff us fans don’t. Do we honestly think Rodger’s just puts Thomas in the team for a laugh? The whole team is out of form the defence is a shambles, Thomas is in the team one week then doesn’t make the bench for a month how can any player get match fit and in form based on this and let’s not forget he played wingback mid week against a decent Brighton side so he was possibly lacking some energy as would any player. I see Luke Thomas is getting his usual hate in various threads from the usual few. let’s be clear Thomas wasn’t meant to start this game Rodgers said this in the pre match build up. Thomas would have know he wasn’t starting and an hour before kick off gets drafted in to what was a must win game. no ****er was passing to him in the first 20 minutes for whatever reason maybe they don’t trust him or he’s wasn’t in the right position yet people are saying he offered nothing what can he do if they don’t pass to him. Thomas get blamed for the second goal by some because he passed it back to firm to Soy….behave these are prem footballers and should be able to deal with it. The pass to Thomas wasn’t required as he had a man on him and should have been cleared. I see people say Moses caused him trouble but that’s not how I saw the game and was telling when he came off the Moses caught Bertrand sleeping and assisted for the 3rd goal. he did a fantastic ball to nacho which helped us get the second but do ant offer us anything some people say. Some fans are very selective in what they see and choose to only highlight the errors. Finally and I think this is a critical point. Thomas hasn’t made the bench since the last Europa game and has hardly played this season yet as fans we are expecting him to be Robertson it’s just not going to happen because he isn’t given a consistent run of games. Give the lad a break some of the stuff that’s written is shameful. Rodgers sees him train everyday so know better than us his strength and development areas…..would a loan help him….possibly if that allows him to play and develop but will the club allow it….unlikely.

He was good on the final too. He was also very good against wolves at the start of the season but has been in and out of the team and granted he wasn’t great on Thursday but who was.
