Man City have to keep the outgoings going more than any of the other top clubs. So much young talent sold and some players whilst still in their best years. Yes they have been able to spend to replace but it shows even Man City are couple of poor transfer windows from being dragged down. I think it's underrated sometimes how Pep gets the best out of certain players. Some of them have now passed their best. I'm really surprised he signed a new contract, I thought it looked a good time for him to move on.

OK maybe disgusting is a bit too far but I've definitely seen comments that are borderline.

A win would be massive, but I feel its important we just don't lose. We need to improve put defensive structure if we want to win games so hopefully they've working on that.

I'm not a boxing expert and not 100% sure how the scoring system works but do you generally get draws? I know you can have split decisions etc. If you had to 'give' a round to someone then for the majority it was Uysk. He was the more threatening, but for me i don't think anyone can deserve a win when neither looked close to achieving a KO.

Fury done well enough but don't think he can say he deserved to win

Usyk the more polished and consistent boxer but neither looked likely to land a knockout blow.

Don't worry, it's only 2 more games until Man City find some form again. Find it pretty amazing that, although not been at his best this season, 2-0 down with 85 on the clock and de Bruyne still sat on his arse.

You are right of course, and I wasn't exactly clammering for any British options when we were looking Just a sad state of affairs really with so few British managers in the premier league and even the championship are looking elsewhere for managers these days.

Sad that this midfield is seen as a preferred choice. Oh how I'd love someone to play in a midfield 3 who can be creative and an attacking threat. And I'm not sure that front 3 really worked, need some direct pace but again not really a wide option with Fatawu and Mavididi poor.

Historically when we don't give a definitive answer it's not great news.

Without wanting to go all Merson or Sutton, and I know we've done the same thing, although you could argue ours is up and coming at least, but it must be pretty annoying for young coaches (especially British ones) 3 sacked managers and all gone to foreign coaches who have never managed here before. 2 of which are pretty random ones too

Dyche is interesting because his teams will be shit for weeks playing some horrible football but then he'll occasionally win a game and everyone thinks he's a good manager again. Luckily for him he does it enough to survive.

I find it funny when people talk about 'must win' games like their life depends on it. It's an important game, and it would be bloody good if we did win. But if we lose we can still respond, same way if we win we can go the rest of the season without picking up a point. Obviously the 3 points helps, especially with the games we have afterwards.

I don't think he's overly bothered, he will be a Scott Carson type keeper for rest of his career probably, but you'd have to be pretty think skinned if you are Ward. Whether he plays or not. He plays and he'll be abused, he doesn't play and someone like Jakub has come from being injured for ages to play ahead of you. Can't be good for confidence.

A typical get this done today whatever happens attitude from England really - similar to how recent dead rubber test matches have gone, especially end of tours. Bethell played really well but then chucked it away with an awful shot. Really like the look of him though, just comes across as a class act. Overall though, a series win in New Zealand is a good result. Would be a huge draw for India if they can get through it and with Hazlewood injured you'd think they'd see out the final day because the aussies will have to bat a session or 2 to bat India out the game.

It will be interesting to see what we do with Stokes. Clearly unable to cope physically anymore if asked to do a big workload but I don't think he trusts himself as a specialist batsmen anymore. Can see us dropping the spinner where possible for the extra seamer, especially in England. A shame we can't find a spinner who can also bat. Rehan probably the ideal option for that long term. I'd be suprised if Stokes goes past next winters Ashes. Also, I assume we just gave up on the game considering how little the seamers bowler in the second innings. Atkinson only bowled 9 overs.

I know he's shit but the atmosphere around the ground should he start (let's be honest, he will if Mads is injured) isn't going to help anyone. Could do without ironic cheers when he catches a ball for example.
