  1. I think some think rules are rules so accept what comes our way. As Martin Samuel stated the rules can be seen as a protection racket. Also powers that be don't always work in the interests of members. As recently shown by the Post Office scandal and the recent Waspi case
  2. Agree with this. Like the law. Not only should justice be done but justice must be seen to be done. The EFL has already overstepped its authority concerning Leicester. If everything is followed correctly and we get done then so be it. If there is a rush to judgment and corners cut then this is not good enough and it is entirely right we should exploit loopholes etc
  3. Bit off topic but I think the whole rotten edifice of football government needs challenging. For example you can criticise the PM or the King but woe betide a manager who calls a ref incompetent. Big fat fine and charged for bringing game into disrepute. Free speech?
  4. Wouldn't put it past for this lot to go for a Luton type punishment. Seem to recall that was a travesty
  5. I still think everything needs to be legal and above board or the club lawyer will rightly be all over it hopefully
  6. Procedures are important in due process. Break that and it could result in case being chucked out
  7. This again suggests proper procedure not followed
  8. Can't help but think they would never go after a big 6 in this way.
  9. Nobody would expect the other home nations to display the Union flag at matches these days.
  10. It is obvious that rather than protecting clubs from possible demise the rules are damaging the game in general and clubs outside the usual suspects. Meanwhile the rich clubs gorge themselves having ensured the ladder has been kicked away.
  11. Putting aside the glaring omission. Gone for England Rugby win, Super Saturday and the 2005 Ashes
  12. I wonder how many fans would simply not watch football at all if their own club went to the wall. In the past watching football you thought your club was part of it all even if we were in a different division. If there was no Leicester City anymore (Heaven forbid) I would just give up the whole interest on the game. I think in some ways your club is the sole reason to keep up the addiction to a sport that has lost the attraction to entertain for its own sake. This is largely because at the top end it is such a racket.
  13. Bit fed up with some of the comments on BBC website from people harping on about the 2002 situation which they accuse Leicester of cheating then when no rules were broken and as if going into administration was a tactic the club cheerfully entered into.
  14. I think a lot of us get sick to death of the big club sycophants. They won't be happy until when it is totally impossible for a Leicester, Bournemouth or Wolves etc to even win a League match against them let alone compete for honours.
  15. And this perfectly illustrates the cartel carve up. They don't want competition from anyone outside their favoured big clubs. What stinks is that I can remember when Chelsea, Man City, Man U and Spurs were all outside the top division even Liverpool used to be crap.
  16. Actors have even been insulted by soppy sods who can't recognise the difference
  17. Fair enough. Pick one and stick with it until it falls to bits. Rather like following our club
  18. Probably best bet is if you really want a shirt is to buy a 60s or 70s classic type that will withstand fashion. Mind the price still
  19. You wouldn't want to buy a second hand car from the EPL mob
  20. If there is a loophole again then drive a coach and horses through it. Legally surely correct procedures have to be adhered to.
  21. The price. What a rip off. Would have to be a bit of a mug to pay this even for the most ardent England fan. As for changing the flag. Although not a big issue in the scheme of things still annoying.
  22. The whole malarkey is discredited and should be scrapped immediately. Clubs trying to compete falling foul of rules that benefit the richer clubs who hardly need helping out.
  23. Yeah 12 for us increased to 14 after appeal. Apologies for cynicism
  24. Enzo's Italian Job
  25. Anyway it's not 2007-8 so keep a little bit of perspective
