How times change. Almost exactly 9 years ago we lost 5-2 at home to Arsenal but the good vibe remained and the rest is glorious history. No such good vibes now
It was a disgrace the second yellow wasn't given. Ref couldn't wait to book our player for waving imaginary card which is fair enough but does not excuse the failure to do his job and book the Arsenal player
I suppose if no more goals after half time we would have thought got away without a hiding. If it was 4-0 then painful but expected. Always hurts more because we started hoping then snuffed out in injury time.
I suppose a lot of managers were put off by the threat of points deduction and Cooper was one of a limited number left. We do look in disarray so time for a change already
Apparently the tariff for the hideous murder was reduced because of the young age of the scum that did it. As they were over the age of criminal responsibility I would have thought the 13 years minimum should have stood
Can't agree that home draws to anyone outside the 3 teams mentioned are essentially defeats. The points are still vital. Not saying all is well but please don't overstate
No guarantee either way. Just think sacking before is premature. Not as bad a start as 1983-84 and then we stuck with Gordon Milne. Not that relevant but shows how much vitriol in modern game
