Only as good as your last game. Youth is wasted on the young
-
Only saw the original British 1990 series with Ian Richardson. That was good
-
I don't think it is on currently but no doubt Casualty will be back soon for another 40 odd week run on prime time Saturday evenings. Was originally a drama but has long since been another soap.

For crying out loud. Our brightest player

There were still 11 million sold in UK in 2023 apparently

2 old films as recommendations for younger people maybe not familiar or for anyone that missed them. The Parallex View and Executive Action.
-
Must admit not watched this but it will have to go some to be better than the original film with Edward Fox
-
Steve Marriott sounds great on this
-
Good point about the Robert Lindsay character. Seemed to go down a blind alley story wise

As someone married to a woman and the father of a daughter and grandfather to a girl I understand the obstacles women face.

I watched. At the time it was OK.

I raised the point because if this bias can happen with the people in charge of defence of the country don't be surprised if the same attitudes are prevalent in organisations like the BBC

Only recently The Royal Air Force was found guilty of bias against white males. The scandal came to light when the female whistle-blower Group Captain highlighted the issue. This is rather more important than who fronts a tv footie show

Of course it is perfectly acceptable to say I think Alex Scott is a rubbish presenter as it is saying Sam Matterface is a rubbish commentator without being accused of sexism etc.
-
Be interesting to know the full criteria the BBC bosses will decide on when choosing the next presenter. Not a great recent record when you look at the viewing figures alone for programmes like Question of Sport and Football Focus though of course the change of content and format also a factor

I associate Norfolk with Flint churches and other buildings

Shout out for Sheringham

You might remember the Spend Spend pools winner Viv Nicholson I think it was in the 60s which ended in tragedy

Personally I would prefer the government to look at housing the UK born children living in cramped B&B with parents. The parents will hopefully have a birth certificate and NI number

Yes. The first episode of the second series was as good as the original series. There was an underlying sense of menace. The court of Henry 8 was not for the faint hearted.
