I mentioned because my grandson is autistic and I would be alarmed if some people linked autism to the murders due to their ignorance and that it was quoted by BBC

Agree with this. The investigation must be allowed to get to the root cause of this crime. What happened to cause a young male to attack and murder young girls. The public will need to know in due course.

Thanks for reply. I suppose for stop and search to work the police and government have to carry the public but clearly if proved that certain sections of society are more likely than don't beat around the bush. Not even sure why there are such things as zombie knives but I am a bit naive.

I do despair. I have heard some pundits propose stop and search but others say this causes a bad relationship between police and youngsters in inner cities. What do you think?

I agree with you. Of course the hooligans smashing property and attacking police divert attention away from legitimate concerns and plays into the hands of extremists on both sides.

I missed the rowers but saw the replay and even knowing GB won it looked impossible right until the end. Wonderful stuff. Not seeing it live probably saved me shouting at the tv

Only thing I would say it that rock stars back in the 60s and 70s probably gave hard drugs a veneer of glamour they did not deserve until of course a number died or their habit caused health problems
