My interpretation is that he wants to start Vardy and is playing Stephy as striker due to not rating Cannon and Daka being buggered.
Ayew and BDCR are the left wingers in his vision.
I do not like this plan.
We’re not talking Cooper at the moment, we’ve been discussing Brendan. And he didn’t deserve sacking in Feb 2022. The complacency seriously set in after the summer transfer window 6
months later and should’ve gone by Christmas.
I think they’re gonners too. It’s funny though, a guy in Costco was telling me he was worried Villa were gonna go down, and I can’t see that. Maybe we’re all just negative f**kers deep down.
No. Absolutely not.
You’re talking from an emotive stance, and these decisions must be made on facts. Getting knocked out of the FA Cup doesn’t warrant a sacking. We finished 8th that season. Behave yourself!!
FFP is a bit of a joke isn’t it? Zapping so much out of the sport.
A homegrown lad with promise, been with us since a child sold over mismanaged finances, leaving us with an AWOL player and a balding midfielder with a funny run. Cracking.
Who with? Slim pickings for us mate.
He had one bad game (albeit a shite preseason). We saw what Brendan had to do for Top to pull the trigger. Cooper has 30 or so more matches left in him yet at least.
I’ll be honest, FFP isn’t something I’m an expert in so if you can explain I’d appreciate it. How does selling KDH for £30m, and then spending more than that on Skipp and Golding for example help us? Is it because he’s an academy lad?
I don’t want to regurgitate the same things lots of others are saying, but we’ve just got to start Mav on the left and Ricky. Selling KDH was a huge error.
Quiet game sure, but Vardy and Ayew were playing in different positions. Mav and Vardy were well isolated for most of the match. He had more urgency than Forest Whittaker, I mean Jordan Ayew.
