  1. We can’t go into cruise mode now. Let’s go out and win this.
  2. Bloody hell. Has someone put lead in mads boots. ?
  3. Now let’s push on and get that second.
  4. That’s why he should start.
  5. Well I’m happy with that lineup. It’s the one I’d have picked and glad Vardy is starting.
  6. Me too. Cometh the hour cometh the Kevin. 3-1 away win incoming.
  7. I agree with all of this except tactics are important. Desire purpose and mentality to execute are key though. Cut out the mistakes at the back work hard and convert chances and we will be fine. Better than fine, we can still be champions.
  8. Football is a funny old game. All season we have been front runners and number one target. Being underdogs may take a bit of pressure off and hopefully with some returning players it might trigger a return to earlier form. If this happens then we could still get automatic promotion but any return to form needs to happen soon.
  9. I thought I was the most optimistic person on here. I guess it is mathematically possible and Wilf does make a difference. Still….
  10. Looking at the fixtures six could definitely do it but I’d be more confident seven is the necessary total for us. Leeds definitely seem to have the better run in and Southampton play Ipswich as well as ourselves. One thing for sure is that all four clubs in the frame will drop more points so it is all to play for and we are still standing pretty. Tuesday is massive.
  11. I agree with all of this part from what happens next. We have had blips before but always had such a cushion of points both literally and in the minds of fans and those who care about the club. But we haven’t seen a loss of momentum like this before under Enzo. He has stuck with his philosophy albeit with minor tweaks but he has made player changes and switched when they have not delivered. I think we are all just as hurt and upset with the current trajectory but let’s see what tweaks and changes are made in terms of tactics and strategy as clearly it’s not working. I don’t think wholesale changes are needed but we need to restore confidence quickly in all areas of the pitch. I do think the return of ndidi and Vesty for example will help but now we have to show resilience and belief to reset our mindset and build again. It’s still in our hands and all to play for.
  12. That was our worst performance in this poor run. Most worryingly we seemed to run out of ideas. No speed in attack and the quality in the final third was poor.
  13. Me too. This is a massive game and it feels a bit like a reset. I think we have been playing well but haven’t quite got the crucial moments right at either end. Time to get it right for 90 + minutes.
  14. True. I wouldn’t underestimate either. QPR deserve respect and we have been just as good away as at home. I also go by how they performed against us in the last game. I trust Maresca to get the balance right. Two games in three days. I’d still bring on some of the better players second half at home and keep some freshness for the second game away. Start with first eleven first game and it will be very tough away. Will be interesting to see what he does. Have to bear in mind that he did rest some players in the cup until late and it went to extract time and we bought on some of the A- team.
  15. True but I go on what I have seen with my own eyes and I think there are reasons behind each run of form. I think Sunderland away will be the tougher game. But you’re right we shouldn’t underestimate QPR either as they are decent and have done well of late. Every game is a cup final from no one. Hopefully including the actual cup final 😀🙏🏻🦊
  16. I think he might go with a similar approach to the Bournemouth cup game with some of the better players on the bench with the option of bringing them on in the second half if needed. Tuesday may be the tougher game and we need to minimise injuries for the long run in. We need to win both though.
  17. Not even a year gone and I’d forgotten how much I dislike Chelsea. Still it’s not spuds.
  18. I’d rather have played Leeds and got revenge. Chelsea will be a tougher ask but still doable. Keep it tight and nick a goal so that it will get their crowd on their back.
  19. That wasnt the worse draw. Yes home to cov would have been nice but could have been man city away. At least it gives me a good excuse to watch the game on tv tonight. If Leeds win we can get retribution. We know now we can play at a better level than them. If Chelsea win I do believe we can beat them too. I didn’t realise Seaman was a Leeds fan btw. Gone down in my estimation.
  20. I’m not so much worried about QPR but Tuesday night away against Sunderland. The latter are a bit of a jeckel and Hyde club and they were good against us earlier in the season. That said I think if we defend well on Saturday I’d be tempted to make minimal changes in defence before the Sunderland game.
  21. Thought that was the best I’ve seen him in a city shirt last night. With vesty (who was excellent again) missing the next two games I think he will come straight in. Nelson looked good when he came on too. It will be interesting to see what he does with Doyle and whether Souttar makes the squad. We have to keep the defence tight over the next run of games.
  22. Coventry Leeds or Forest at home please. If any of them get through.
