I loved the way he got stuck in both today and against Millwall. We have to remember he is still only 19 and plenty of time to polish his decision making crossing and shooting. The raw materials are all there. Pace skill energy enthusiasm and tenacity. Looks like he has really settled well into the team too. One of the brightest sparks of this season so far for me Top - don’t let this lad get away.

I agree with all that. We certainly created the chances to achieve that level of security but fluffed a fair few great chances. Some of the play was very dominant and some of the best we have played all season and we shouldn’t have had that nervy final ten minutes. Overall I was encouraged at the way we handled a potential banana skin of a game.

I thought he looked a bit brighter and more focussed when he came on today. Should have scored of course and certainly shows promise of what he can become. Trouble is we need someone who can perform reliably now. Frustrating, but let’s not forget he is still only 20 and still got time ahead of him to mature both physically and mentally (scarey what Fatawu at 19 could achieve!). I trust Enzo to do the right thing.

Like a throwback to bobby Robsons team of the late 70s early 80 s who really played as a team and better than the sum of their parts. They are relentless which is refreshing to see. They rarely take a backward step and have players who can carry the ball. Hope they beat Leeds. Then we beat them on Boxing Day.

I’m really impressed with what McKenna has done with Ipswich. They have some neat tidy players but clearly are well coached and play for each other like a proper team should.

I’m not so worried about our side to be honest. Sporting are shrewd and will be well aware of his impact here. I don’t think it will be as easy to pry him away as it looks on paper. Hope I’m wrong.

Let’s get the ball out quicker to fatawu rather then stringing passes across midfield and then out. He is standing well clear of his marker but we are signalling our intentions. We need to play from the start of the second half with the intensity of though it were the last 15.

All those keepers are top notch so you set a very high standard for young mads. He certainly has high potential. The main thing is he is a clearly better keeper than last years options was a great signing as you say. I get the same level of confidence from having him in goal as I did with Kasper and that makes me very content. Just be very careful with those short balls. Our central defenders are not quick and our competitors are on to that.

The issue with all those clubs is not the keepers as such but the preoccupation with playing out from the back using sweeper keepers that is so fashionable and dominant at present. No matter how good the keeper mistakes are bound to happen.MH has been a great signing and hopefully will continue to improve with experience. But the likes of Nick Pope Ramsdale and Raya are all top class too. I remember games against these sides at the king power when fans were wishing we had keepers like that. Personally I’m very happy with the current incumbent and hope that stays the case for a long time.

I agree with all of this although I think he should have taken the shot yesterday rather than pass to ndidi who I thought was offside. That sort of decision making does come with age and maturity. The game against Leeds made my mind up. We were right at the front when he chipped the ball over the Leeds player ran though and hit the cross bar. I turned to the missus and said we have got to get this lad signed up.
