Well here's the news...it is happening and has been for some time. Yet if anybody tried to point out that we're dreary and predictable, the response was brainless guff about being top of the league. Well guess what, we ain't no more and doubt we will be again.

There aren't that many teams that can do it successfully, especially in English football. Not got the technique for quick one touch accurate control and pass. Begs the question why did Maresca come here in the first place if that's his one and only style of play, needing top quality players to execute that style effectively and knowing our finances. Are we just an experiment to see if you can improve average players to that level or a stepping stone for him?

It's strange how the anti Hamza brigade find him as a scapegoat for anything that happens. He's being asked to play a specialist role of fullback who then covers central midfield as well. For a start he's not a fullback but that's Maresca with his square pegs in round holes job. Fatawu has proved he's not capable of reading the game and covering the fullback spot when Choudhury is in midfield and is more of an issue.

Ndidi looks knackered as well since it's his first full game. Gonna need some fit legs for however long this game goes on.
