Its going to happen. Right now we cant get on his back for this, as he will have to play at least 1 player we dont like.

Think we boss this 2-0 -
Because we clearly tried to get at least one other candidate and it didnt work our. We dont know what choice he was, but it definitely wasn't first.
-
And herin lies out problem. He will have to play one of those players at least that we have all grown to hate. The list: Okoli Ayew Daka Thomas Viktor Riccy (i hate old Riccy, not the bloke) Wink Aluko cant play both sides, Riccy cant play every game, one of Daka or Ayew will have to play and both cant play 90 mins each game. Either one of Luke or Victor has to play. And i am sure Winks will feature at some point. I think we have to accept this sadly.

Fair play, looks good in the blue

Ferguson could largely spend what he wanted, and get rid of anyone he wanted with very little consideration for losses.

Vestergaard cant jump, is a poor defender, and is the slowest footballer i have ever seen. I presume there was hope that Okoli could do the running bit and defend ok. Sadly, for whatever reason, Okoli cant run nor can he defend. The fact we have both being paid good money is terrible. -

The problem is, you could say this about a lot of them. Thomas, VK, Riccy (old version), Daka, Ayew, Okoli, Vestergaard. No matter what, Rowett is going to have to include at least 2 players in his starting line up we would rather do without. -
A slap? Ayew would fall over before the slap was given, and if you slapped Daka he would be rolling on the flow and probably be out for 3 months.

Footmob rated him 7.6 in the FA Cup, our 2nd highest rated player. Nothing dubious about him at all, and if i'm right, the first time he's had significant minutes in his preferred position.

I suppose its taken 3 weeks for IT to wipe Marti's Laptop.
-
That will be a disgrace if it happens. Should be taking the players meeting at Seagrave today
-
So let me get this right. You don't think Aluko is a good as Riccy as playing in a system that hasn't worked for us since the 2nd half of the Enzo season (when he got exploited horribly by Millwall, Plymouth etc), and that Riccy can barely play himself. I've not seen many decent moves from Riccy in midfield, and when gets caught out (there are a lot of misplaced passes from him), he cant track back. Teams have been exploiting this for nearly 2 years. At RB, Aluko looked like a huge upgrade on Riccy and was very good getting forward as well. I would suggest that we are nearly at the point where Riccy can't play Aluko's system anymore, and Aluko has the added benefit of being able to play CB or LB.

To coin a cliche, its a must win. They are on the slide. Not a better opportunity. -
Ricardo is play certainly not doing it effectively!
-
Better than Marti.

Yeah. We are talking v log goal number for both. But Daka beings something Daka doesnt. I cannot watch Ayew fall over, or continuously foul players anymore.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Just a shame about all the other positions. -
Because there are people who really thought we could get Dyche or Enzo.
-
Pretty sure you are missing the minutes played data there. Ayew seems to have it in his contract that he has to feature in every game.
-
If he can setup so that we are not exposed by Luke Thomas' frailties, and Okoli's shite passing, and Riccy's age, then he will become a legend.
-
Always love a 'Gary'. Not enough 'Garys' these days.

PERCY! Who turns out looks like Sam Smith
-
Hardly what Dean Smith had to face for his games. Every game in the Championship is winnable, or drawable. Especially if you set yourself up hard to beat and frustrate the opposition. Blackburn just beat QPR away. If does this well, there are points to be had there.
