  1. Yes this is the way forward but it will mean a full rebuild next summer. We're talking about 14-15 new players maybe? A young team full of thirsty talents. Good luck with that with our current scouting team.
  2. I'm also positive for the season but then I think if we go up we'll still have major issues, possibly bigger than we have now. And instantly my excitement is gone. 😒
  3. I don't quite see how their situation is so similar to ours. Our problems started in PL when BR managed to relegate a mid table team. This was an absolute crime which totally derailed everything. Ofc our board is liable to this monumental disaster. After this was a matter of decisions. Rebuild and risk further decline? Keep the somewhat PL quality and go up instantly with excessive wages? Scouting and transfer logic was atrocious also, manager appointments laughable. Correct if I'm wrong but the major issue wasn't the transfers amounts, it was the wages to certain non footballers like Ward, Soumare etc.
  4. Exactly. I think as a fanbase we've forgotten that success was achieved when the team worked as a collective. Ofc there were always these individual player moments but all lines were giving 100% in every game. Fatawu having 3 magic moments per game doesn't mean anything if our CBs also have their 3+ "magic" moments.
  5. He loves his kebabs though.
  6. The wife legal card is overused and it's really annoying to be played all the time. Do you really believe they're poor as a family they can't afford to pay?
  7. He can't play in MLS and he knows it, it doesn't fit his style of play. And there is absolutely NO CHANCE Vardy will take his family to the Saudi butchers of human rights.
  8. Have you messaged Daka to tell him he's a striker? What I meant is we could have him back because he'll need to accept a quite big decrease in his wages wherever he goes. Time isn't on his side unless a PL team breaks the bank when in need mid season because of injuries.
  9. To do what? Submit the documents for administration?
  10. Or sign a new 2 year contract with us. I've just looked at our squad and we don't have a striker.
  11. He's definitely asking for a decent last 2 year term contract. 100% and I can't blame him for this. He's not an idiot also. He can see the ridiculous amount of money spent in the market and despite what others say I believe he can still bag some goals even in PL.
  12. Oh forgot about that. Man Utd in late October it is then.
  13. Are we also getting back Soyuncu then?
  14. Didn't he say already he wants PL football? Which Championship team can afford signing him? Even if he lowers his wages expectations and join a Championship team why he didn't stay another season with us? Imo he'll receive an offer by either Palace or Sunderland or even Everton a few hours before the transfer deadline.
  15. Watched the Yankees vs Marlins game late last night. What a game. People who don't like or give a chance to baseball should watch games like this and I'm sure their interest in the sport will grow.
  16. The situation is embarrassing for EFL and English football. One week before the start of the season everything is a mess. And I'm quite certain it's not only Sheff Wed with this kind of problems. Meanwhile, someone who isn't involved in ANY WAYS with Forest is posting photos with new signings and the football authorities are blind because they think Marinakis is just a Colombian actor. Shambles.
  17. I'm not saying their owner is perfect. He's far from it. What I'm saying is that the game is taken away from the pure fan base. I don't care about other countries but it's shocking we don't have strict ownership rules for the sport here. Russian oligarchs were allowed to own teams and do business with MPs, Saudi butchers are also allowed for years now to do the same. As it stands we might offer a team to Kim Yong Un and the fans will happily clap. The sport in England must be co-owned by the fans in every aspect. Otherwise it will be gone and it will be a sport for OnlyFans.
  18. It's not surreal. It's going to be the normality now. The majority of teams are struggling and everything is going by the plan of the elite. They've ruined the sport and we're just here for its funeral.
  19. Idk if this the right thread to post but it seems La Liga is introducing manager/coach challenges the upcoming season. In a few years they've managed to make football the biggest joke of a sport. Netball has serious competition now.
  20. I'm tempted to start a second franchise as the Blue Jays in The Show 25.
  21. Have you watched the new blockbuster? The GodUEFAther. They're all part of the Mafia.
  22. The sport is now regulated by mafia. They're all in it: Owners, agents, associations, players, governments, betting companies. It needs a massive boycott from the pure base of fans. Some might say I'm being overly dramatic but this is how I feel about football right now.
  23. My point is that even a team like Newcastle can't hold on a "star" player despite winning a trophy. I've said the same thing when the Newcastle takeover took place. They won't be able to attract or maintain quality/world class players unless they relocate the American way. It will happen eventually, this is the plan.
  24. The sport is totally ruined. A team like Newcastle can't even convince Isak to stay there. OnlyFans footballers and primadonnas have destroyed football alongside the corrupted associations which act like Camorra. A hard salary cap is the only way to save the sport.
  25. This is unfortunately one of the biggest problems. If we get promoted we'll need at least 15 quality players and I can't see how we can achieve that under the current stupid financial rules.
