Why is this lady shouting at the mic? We're an absolute embarrassment from the team down to the pundits. I won't be surprised if Southgate blames the climate change for this farce. -

Might as well withdraw the team from the tournament now. All the other teams except Scotland are better than England. The friendly vs Iceland wasn't a one-off fluke I'm afraid. -

Oh look! A manager who doesn't hesitate to make a sub 34min into the 1st half. -

Eden Hazard vibes there. -

They can't do otherwise. This isn’t a squad full of youth players. They're all talking about Ronaldo but what Modric does at 38 is GOAT material if you take into account his position. -

First half was decent. Yes Italy played the waiting game but both teams were still playing direct with midfield runs. It wasn't a bore fest for sure. 2nd half is on another level ofc. Simply as it is we don't stand a chance if and when we face any of these teams later in the tournament. -

Southgate must resign immediately by just watching how Croatia (and Italy) play. Passion, tactics, direct football. -

More head injuries than shots. I also had a concussion by watching this dross. -

If you guys believe the UEFA governing body has no political liaisons with EU I have around 10 castles to sell you in Mars. And another 3 in Zeus. -

Huh? You're really not that naive. Do you know which politicians are behind these tournaments? -

This is EU for you, the gift that keeps on giving. Hypocrites. I'm shocked there isn't a Russian vodka sponsorship also. Oh wait, they're our enemies now. In a few years the Saudis will be our enemies. On Friday EU announced extra customs duty against China but whatever, let's have a HiSense sponsorship everywhere. Farcical. -

Nope. They want Mel Gibson also there. -

Just to put into perspective what exactly Southgate does: He thinks this team can win the tournament by playing almost the same way Greece did 20 years ago. The guy is one of the biggest frauds this sport has ever seen. So what's the point calling all these players (a lot of them of world class quality)? It would have been more honest to just call Championship and League One players and have them play the Greece 2004 way. This is an epic disaster and FA is liable for this joke while we've been ridiculed globally. The worse is still to come also. -

I agree. What I'm saying is that I would have gone all the way to finish it myself or pass later for a tap in. This wasn't the correct way to react on a 3 on 1 situation. -

You just don't pass the ball there, you finish it yourself or run further near the 6 yard box. Defender already was covering cleverly to force a pass and have a chance to clear it if shot was going low on the right side of the goal. A lot of these players lack football intelligence. -

Under the new modern football rules it's a penalty. It's another discussion if this should be a penalty. Imo it shouldn't and the handball rule must be like it was in the 80s and 90s. -

It's absolutely shocking how every single team plays with intensity and passion except England. Idk how Southgate is not sacked yet, Walker and the rest should be ashamed for all their post game interviews. There's still time to sack Southgate tonight and turn things around. -
You can't be serious. Have you realised what this club have achieved the past 10 years? Ofc we'll express our disappointment regarding certain club decisions but our support is undeniable and non negotiable. Do you think Top was happy or even ready to inherit the club? It's easy to say he could have sold but this club is not your neighbourhood kebab takeaway.

Every single game so far was miles better than England's and the players and manager had the audacity to say they were happy with the performance. -

It's not about being a fanboy. You're pragmatic. Any striker with pace would have had a great time running behind the slow Serbian CBs, especially after the 1-0. The issue is Southgate. Even an 8yr old with one year experience in Football Manager would have replaced Kane with Watkins at around the 60th min mark.
