  1. It doesn't matter if he's good or not. By default he won't be given the time Arteta had from Arsenal. If Arteta was in Chelsea he would have been sacked in 6-8 months.
  2. For anyone playing Balatro, there's an Android version floating around if you want to completely ruin your life. Official IOS/Android version is coming also. Unless they ban the game for addiction purposes.
  3. Yes Sinner adjusted/adapted and you can see now he's using inside out. Probably 3-1 Sinner, Moutet is getting tired.
  4. Moutet has pulled now one of the most impressive performances in a 1st set vs Top 3 in RG for decades. I always believed that if someone manages to master the drop shots in tennis will right away have a big advantage. His drop shots are drop dead gorgeous. He's also focusing shots on Sinner's BH and idk why Sinner doesn't play inside out to counter. Moutet has only 2 ways to win this one, drop shots and BH "spamming". Looks like Sinner is poorly coached?
  5. Sources from Greece: "Sarri rejected to go into the further talks with Panathinaikos after the initial offer. Leicester is interested but Sarri will need a few more weeks to decide as he has a lot of personal things going on in Italy now".
  6. Are you really so sure the board didn't approach other more popular managers? I'm 99.99% certain it happened and they've hung up the phone or rejected politely in 2 seconds.
  7. The objective was "reach the PO and get promoted" . Corberan achieved a PO spot, failed to promote the team even though their rivals were in mid table at best form. It's up to WBA board to decide. Tactically his team was awful in both PO games.
  8. If this isn't a sarcastic post, appointments are proven successful or not by the results. Apart from Puel which was a very strange one and the Three Stooges we got in to save us from relegation, all the other appointments had at least a plan in paper.
  9. Half of it it's under the table.
  10. Yeah sure, he'd come to Leicester with half the salary, - 6pts minimum, no European football and also choose Leicester over Istanbul to enjoy the "brilliant" English breakfast and the same Indian food over and over again instead of quality Greek and Turkish dishes for free everyday.
  11. Mourihno is a manager that I'm 100% sure would have managed to avoid any relegation battle next season. But he's an unrealistic target, you have more chances to win the Euromillions than him coming to manage Leicester. We couldn't even keep players like Drinkwater and Chilwell for another season back then. The city and the team will never be attractive even if we win another PL title or even two titles in a row.
  12. I don't disagree with you and all the figures re transfers and money spent there are spot on. I'm just taking a pragmatic approach strictly talking about the achievement of the manager compared to a realistic (or not realistic) board target.
  13. Idk what WBA were expecting. The manager has targets and board expectations at the start of the season. Corberan knew all this. WBA board expectations were promotion through the PO. If, as a manager, you believe this isn't achievable you either resign or get in talks to downgrade these expectations. Fact is Corberan failed to get WBA promoted. P. S. This happened with all the other PO teams in a generally bad shape and out of form.
  14. Corberan has failed to meet his board's season expectations in Championship.
  15. Most knowledgeable Leeds fans I know were complaining about Farke's stubbornness and lack of plan B all season even when they had the unbeaten run. They knew the team wasn't playing well, they knew our game against them should have ended 0-7. It's one thing trying different things as a manager and failing and it's another insisting to non working tactics and formations. I want a manager who won't hesitate to make a sub at the 30min of first half or change completely the tactics on the fly.
  16. Alright, my turn now. Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen.
  17. I don't understand why there are so many fans recommending British managers. Have any of these achieved something significant lately? Only Potter's Brighton played some decent, attractive football at times. All the rest are so limited and one dimensional tactically. Even the national team has this kind of manager and this is why there's no way we'll win anything. I'm not saying all foreign managers are better but there's certainly a lack of adventurous, enthusiastic British managers for years now.
  18. He or his agent probably called the club. Or his wife without him knowing about it.
  19. That makes us two then. Cruel world.
  20. I would just go through all pre match and post match tactical analysis posts by all members and choose 3 of them.
  21. I'd rather have 3 members of FoxesTalk as managers than Garcia.
  22. Reims has other issues within the club. Will Still wanted more control in signings as he's also a good scout for talents. There are more things you don't know behind his "sacking".
  23. Oh yes, let's not take a risk with unproven managers but let's get Cooper! Wtf is Cooper? Oh wait, he was sacked by Forest, he's done nothing in his managerial career and I'd rather watch paint dry than have this fraud as a manager. You make it sound like we are doomed financially, on a brink of full collapse or whatever. If this is the case why on earth the board decided it was a good time to get promoted?
  24. Will Still will sign elsewhere and we'll end up with another boring manager like Corberan.
  25. Nobody cares at this point. In a few years they will tell you you're not allowed to go to a stadium or buy a ticket if you don't own an electric vehicle and people will be on the queue clapping like they did for NHS.
