There was certainly more loyalty back in the 80s and 90s. Back then a lot of managers and players stayed until retirement in their clubs. Players were more passionate about their teams, this is a fact and everybody in their late 40s and 50s now can list dozens of players that stayed loyal to their club. Now Vardy as a player and Simeone as a manager are the exceptions.

Where are my fellow fans now when back in September I posted that Chelsea or Man Utd will go after Enzo if we get promoted and they were laughing at me? I watched quite a few Southampton games this season and I think they had the best off ball movement in the league. They also had a strange confidence/arrogance with the ball, probably Martin's work/psychology. Ofc like the majority of teams they went very easily into panic mode which cost them points. The 3 best teams got promoted and this is a fact.

He completely shut down Leeds in 3 games. In the first 15mins today I posted here how Farke got it wrong again tactically. Anyone with decent football knowledge could spot how Martin locked Leeds again since the KO, only Farke was still daydreaming because he's a fraud, he's not a manager, he doesn't have a clue about football. That said, yes Martin has every right to brag about it even though he's also incompetent. His team won 1-0 instead of 5-0 as he didn't risk to take any advantage of the hilariously bad right side of Leeds and the midfield which was again in trainspotting mode.
