Take the positives whatever the result. Ipswich win and there's a bigger gap to be made to Leeds. Draw and we can create a bigger gap to both. Leeds win and we can create a bigger gap to 2nd. And while that's seen as the less favourable outcome by many, I think that's because they've forgotten about Saints, who could keep the gap to 3rd the same regardless of the Leeds/Ipswich result if they pick up a win for themselves.

I think this is a great game for us to see what Daka can offer us against a team that will presumably get everyone back behind the ball. In the 3 games he's started we've not been up against the low block that we've become familiar with for a lot of the games this season. A double hat trick will do.

I think pace is a factor with our entire back line tbh when all are fit, with none of Faes, Vesty or Doyle being particularly quick or mobile, i think you can get away with one, possibly two at prem level if there's someone quick to cover back, which may be an area addressed in January or the Summer. Or Enzo may sit us deeper at a higher level. Who knows? But I don't think Vestegaard stands out as a problem in this regard. They're all relatively slow.

I'd like to see him drive into the box at goal a bit more. He's largely unselfish, aside from his potshots from range, but inside the box he'll scare defenders shitless. I think once he's got that down with end product (goals, not assists, a bit of selfishness) from his own dribbles he'll get a taste for it. And then it's Balon D'or innit.

This is completely incorrect. Intent has no baring on it being a red, it was wreckless endangerment of an opponent. And the fact the ref hasn't seen anything at all is about as clear and obvious an error as you could possibly ask for. It's pretty much a textbook example. BUT we don't have VAR so those textbooks can get f*****!

Cannon did some decent chasing down lost causes just to put a bit of pressure on and skied a chance, but he didn't have much to work with given as most have already said the Mav sub changed our momentum. Bizarre to then chastise the striker who hasn't got anything to go on in the minutes where Brum were going to throw more forward and we'd have to soak up some pressure.
