I know, just saying he's not always fit for his new club.
-
To be fair he's already spent time out for Man Utd this season through injury.
-
We get rid of Praet and that frees up a space. Don't need to send Casadei back.
-
'kin hell I'd rather keep Kel!
-
Everything seems to be season defining.
-
Reckon they can afford Kel? XD

It's too arrogant to learn from itself. That's why we don't have the same offside system as the world cup as well as other ways of implementing it.
-
Not really. He's looked like a striker coming into games when our biggest attacking threats have left the field. In 2 games he's come on when the game is in our favour and Mav has gone off (replaced by Albrighton and Hamza), later to be joined by the likes of KDH and Wilf. In the only game where he came on before we took off any attack minded players he took the shot that was parried back for Ricardos Wilfarse goal. Like against Plymouth, with the game won, he came on and got no time with Mav and 6 minutes with Wilf and KDH, replaced by Casadei and Praet. He's played a grand total of 58 minutes too btw. Though I agree on the clamour point. We don't know what he'll be like. Until Afcon!

Tbh it's just going to be a wait and see type of deal. Where he will be going up against better players and better teams, we'll also be going up against less (if any) 10 behind the ball sides. Everyone will want to get at us which might give our wingers more space and more counter opportunities. Then it's whether he shines in those situations.
-
How the hell did the pair of you see your TV's from there?
-
If we got Gift, we'd be buggered every AFCON.

There's surely no way in hell we bring in a striker in January. We have 4 on the books, the only one that would fetch any kind of halfway decent fee in order to buy in a decent striker is Daka, and he'd only fetch a decent fee now because he's starting games and scoring goals, which means he's not the one you're going to let go. If Kel goes we still have 3 left, and one position to play for. Even if Kel left and Vardy retired early I still think it'd be down on the list of priorities. Man City, who we're so often compared to have 2. Haaland and Alvarez. We don't need any more. Goalscoring wingers or box to box midfielders with a bit of attacking threat'll do. A Wilf replacement is probably the one to look at. Competition if he stays, replacement if he (ultimately) doesn't. And a speedy CB? Again, it's still early but Enzo needs to decide with the player if there's succession planning to be done with Vesty.

There's not mushroom for them around here!

It's the Berbatov factor! I don't think he's lazy, he's languid. I also don't think that he doesn't care. I just think people read into it what they want to justify their own biases. Basically any player in the last year of their contract that puts in a performance or performances below par are instantly being labelled as downing tools and wantaway. Maybe they just had a bad game, MAYBE they're just not that good? What about Kels time here says that this lull in form is down to attitude rather than ability given what we've seen from him during his time here? He has ALWAYS done this since he came here, he's had more bad spells than good too. I also think he bizarrely plays to the level around him. I think if you sell him to Palace, he'll look a Premier League player, but equally if you threw him into a league one outfit I bet he doesn't pull up any trees.
-
Perhaps it's just that we had Wout at LB and Wilf is a bit more defensive than KDH so he was put there in case Faes needed help. Which he didn't seem to in the end.
-
It would be pretty risky to be playing him now tbf. I know you can argue he needs minutes, but if he picks up an injury before the AFCON players leave, then with Vardy currently injured we're down to no strikers.
-
That doesn't really make sense. If they're putting themselves in the shop window for their parent club then they're putting in performances that would attract a permanent move and impress other clubs.
-
10mill what? Cos it sure as shit won't be pounds sterling.
-
Yeah, the mistake was taking off Wilf and KDH for Cas and Yunus. Not a problem individually but you're taking two busy players with good engines that work at both ends for two players that only really function at the other end of the pitch you're giving up a level of control, as has been mentioned Hamza with one of the other two would have given a better balance. Saying that we should have had a penalty and their goal was a freak effort really. Let's not forget this is the team in 2nd. We have no right to control the majority of the game or piss it, and they didn't really threaten too much, even with us giving up the middle of the park. A double deflected speculative shot that's ended up an OG has got them a point at home. Not a win. A few lessons to learn, some positives, a disappointing finish but by and large I thought we played a good game. Just needed to do a little more at times.
-
He can't hear you, he's hungover. It was his birthday yesterday.
-
The pair are too offensive minded for this situation really. Not about gaining control.
-
Is he not an obligation like Fatawu if we're promoted?
-
Vestewall!
