I think Wolves are just too far behind. West Ham have the worst run in by quite some way - they have Man City, Arsenal, Villa and Newcastle to play (I know some of them aren't in great form). So I think West Ham still look like they'll fill that last spot, but the Forest v. Spurs game end of March will be interesting. And Spurs could always be Spursy on an epic scale. When they're like that, they'll either go down or win every single game from here on in.

In fairness to him, as you say, he did point this out, and we did win on the 36 rather than 37 month assessment period, but that doesn't detract from the point that we were still clearly going to breach PSR (the assessment period only went to how bad a breach it would be), and of more concern is the fact that no one took or acted on his advice and indeed doubled down as the Commission noted by paying significant fees for new players during the FY24 summer window. Which is why I agree with you and have no sympathy with the club on breaches of the PSR. And we now have a CEO that clearly Top and Rudkin feel free to ignore and have doubtless promoted for that very reason. They don't want strong corporate governance, they want an echo chamber of yes men.
