Rudkin and Whelan have been so close to king power and TOP that it’s just too awkward for him to part ways, that’s the honest truth of it. I’m sure Whelan and Rudkin will spin him a line as to the reasons weve dropped off and it’ll do for him.

I think the squad really lacks quality. We aren’t better than the teams above us currently. We cannot defend and whilst we concede goals at the rate we do, we will go down. We have some decent players, occasionally play some decent stuff but across the whole team, we are short. January is a huge month, if we can bring in some real quality we may have a chance but it’s a long shot from here. The Wolves game did it for me. The fatawu injury is such a massive blow too. That was the turning point. Good performance today but ultimately we are pass the point of being happy with performances with no points. We need wins badly. We are desperate for a quality right back because Justin ain’t it. Ruuds biggest priority has to be making us more solid. I think the players will give it a go but will come up short. Sack the board.

Oh yeah if he keeps that squad up, he’s the real deal. I just think the jury is out about him at the moment because there’s nothing to go off really.

Today was the first good 90 minute performance we’ve had under him and probably all season. I’m extremely skeptical about the appointment, but today at least gives us some hope that his ideas are decent.

Be good for us next year hopefully.
