  1. Yes I know, it was a shite joke, because I'm struggling to find any positives.
  2. The only positive when we appointed Cooper, KDH was still at the club.
  3. It's football in general now, the games gone to shit. How can the authorities allow this situation were clubs are forced to sell academy products at cut prices to comply with the accounts under the name of sustainability. £30 million for KDH with 150 games played and Kellyman goes for £19 million with 2 games played. Pure madness.
  4. The boards biggest mistake was giving too much power to Rodgers, but after 2 5th placed finishes it's understandable when his stock was so high.
  5. By not signing any players in the summer transfer window, the season we got relegated. We could have signed Lookman and spent the fortune Rodgers wanted on his squad refresh but didn't because of PSR.
  6. There's no guarantees in football, but Rodgers is more to blame than Top or Rudkin IMO. Over that period we spent more time in the top 4, yet failed and finished 5th. With champions league football our finances are a different picture, we can sustain the wage bill, invest etc ... Rudkin, Top have had to deal with that mess financially and haven't done a good job granted, but it's impossible for a club of Leicester's size to have contingency plans for that financial hole.
  7. All our problems can be attributed to Rodgers and failing to deliver champions league football twice. The club backed him with the 8 highest PL wage bill and he ****ed up riding off into the sunset with a massive payout. Absolute parasite if a man.
  8. Really don't understand all this shite sensationalism tweeting. Everton had a double points deduction last season, it's hardly and exclusive if it happens to us.
  9. Because life for the club would be far worse with a prolonged period in the EFL. We sold player assets, spent to replace them with very good replacements and were promoted. I would much rather the club take this approach and try to remain competitive than just balance the books at all costs, otherwise we could be just like Bolton or Portsmouth and drop down the leagues.
  10. But what's the 3rd deduction for?
  11. Totally agree
  12. Yes, but I thought our potential points deduction will be for the 22/23 season and we need to sell or get the losses below £85 million for the rolling 3 seasons before July 1st for 23/24 season otherwise we face 2 separate deductions?
  13. Don't we have to sell in June for it to count in this year's PSR financials. Would rather keep him and take the points deductions, because these rules change next season.
  14. Everton had 2 separate points deductions last season, 8 points in total. So why should ours be anymore, we tried to comply with PSR and faced the ultimate punishment with relegation. Any points deduction for 2021-2022 will be double jeopardy.
  15. It would be interesting to know, if those fans who are unhappy with the appointment of Cooper were for / against Enzo at the end of the season?
  16. Well said we support the team not a particular manager
  17. For all those that favour direct football, who would be a modern exponent of that style in the current premier league and an ideal candidate for The Leicester job?
  18. Sacked by Hull for playing boring football
  19. I'm not, if he's not good enough for Hull why's he going to be for Leicester
  20. We're all ready facing a points deduction and we're not going to reduce our losses from £181 mil to £83 mil by selling KDH to comply, so we should just keep our assets accept the punishment and try to secure enough points to stay in the league.
  21. That's a good shout, Woy Hodgson
  22. Chris Wilder probably achieved more finishing 9th with Sheffield United in his first PL season.
  23. They've already had precedent of a club coming out of nowhere and winning the league. Jack Walker and Blackburn did the exact same thing, it was just cheaper back then. I object 100% to these PSR rules and hope Man City **** the premier league because it prevents a club like Leicester from competing with the entitled top 6 who think they have a divine right to protect their cartel and keep out the 'smaller' clubs. We have our PSR issues with losses of a round £200 million but the rules prevent King Power from investing that amount in the club to clear the financial losses on the PSR balance sheet. Instead the EPL will deduct points, they will not look on us with compassion either because a 'smaller' club dared to challenge them and win in the courts earlier this year.
  24. He was announced 16th June '23 which is quick IMO.
