They all need to leave, they're a disgrace they have multiple relegations on their Cvs. It's Leicester City who suffer long term, we need to move on from this rabble and win the league.

I look forward to signing some proper players and no longer seeing posts about Daka, Ayew, Vesty......

What does a good season look like?
trooky replied to Sol thewall Bamba's topic in Leicester City Forum
A good season is we move on all the high earners, Faes, Winks Vesty, Kristiansen, Okoli, Mavididi, Fatawu, Skipp and Thomas without getting screwed. Then build a new team and we win the league comprehensivly without having to sack another manager. I couldn't care less about the paint trophy, we should only use academy players in it. -
The Man City case hasn't been resolved yet, so we're not too late. We would need to be prompt once a decision has been made on Man City. I don't agree with any of this but the door is now open and we're desperate.

Toxic club - an inconvenient truth about our fans
trooky replied to LeePhilpottsBaldSpot's topic in Leicester City Forum
I believe we should support the team on the pitch in the stadium, but we are totally entitled to show our disgust at the way the club is run and demand that Rudkin is sacked and Top sells the club. Top doesn't listen to fans, I don't believe he even understands the amount of ill feeling towards him or Rudkin, they never communicate, acknowledge mistakes or learn from them. The fans are entitled to this opinion. Whilst I believe we should support the team in the stadium, last season was a disgrace, it's been very hard to support this team when the players and management were so poor and clearly not fit, lacking in leadership at any level,so the hatred is understandable. The players needed to win the fans over but they never showed any attempt to do this. We appointed RM a huge mistake IMO, he has to recruit some very good players, and be top of league 1 immediately, but if he performs like he did at Rangers then the levels of toxicity will be through the roof and totally justified IMO. -
It's his last chance in football, has to make it success if he wants a career in football after Leicester

Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager

We should be positive about Leicester we're only 1 of 7 clubs who have won the PL, FA Cup, League cup and the community shield. We're a fallen giant of the English gameπ -
Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager
trooky replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not my choice, but regardless of the manegerial appointment, It's all about player recruitment in league 1. We'll basically need 15 new 1st team players that want to play for the shirt and are prepared to fight. At least we've appointed someone with plenty of time, so no excuses. This is last chance saloon for RM so if he wants a career after Leicester then he has to get us back to the PL in 2 years. -
I hope this isn't true, Top is so out of touch with the fans and an arrogant ****. The fans aren't going to get behind Martin, it could all turn toxic very quickly unless we're unbeaten top of the league in August.
-
Yep they've learned nothing, just a repeat of last year and we know how that ended.
-
Most modern managers play possession based football now. Challinor trys to dominate possession 57% + with aggressive pressing to win the ball back in the attacking 3rd. His main difference with Martin is he's not obsessed with the endless passing around defence trying to create positional overlaps in the final 3rd that never transpire because the build up play is so slow. He's more flexible than Martin, also sees the importance of set pieces, even a 5 year year old could see that Challinor is superior in every aspect to Martin apart from his choice in Women.
-
Yep ****ing clueless, just get the best man for the job to win promotion from league 1 at the first attempt. - Martin has a win percentage of 38%, 1 promotion in 5 seasons. - Hake 36% 0 promotion in 10 seasons, and most people have probably never even heard of him, I hadn't. -Challinor 50%, 7 promotions in 15years and lowest ever finish is 5th Only Top would think of employing the first 2.
-
π I'll have to watch it, but in the meantime someone needs to pull his wires out completely.
-
Why can't Top just go and get Challinor, he wasting so much time as usual, when will the man realise he's out of his depth.
-
-
Why? They've taken us to league 1 oblivion, absolutely clueless. No revisionism will ever be required with these 2 clowns.

Yes a quick check with AI and the only teams playing long ball 442 are Wycombe, Burton, Rotherham, Northampton, Port Vale(352) and Wimbledon. Only 1 team finished in the top half, 11th the others were bottom half with 3 of them relegated. Most teams play 433, 4231 or 343, 6 with a slow build up, 3 who got promoted and the other 12 mix it up with a certain directness in getting the ball forward quickly but still try to play decent football.
-
How many teams actually play robust 442 in league 1, I'm not sure it that's many, Cardiff, Bolton or Bradford off the top of my head certainly didn't. The problem with Martin is he's a terrible people manager, his tactics are inflexible and he refuses to admit he's wrong. I personally don't see a problem trying to appoint a manager who wants to play decent football, just not Martin
-
I just don't get why anyone would want this self serving ****, always punching above his weight, Lucy Pinder, Rangers, Southampton and now being linked with Watford, Blackburn and us. The latter clubs owners should all fail the fit and proper owners test if they're considering hiring Brussel, basket case clubs the lot of them.
-
Maybe the tactical genius π realized how shit our defence was and the only way to not concede so many goals was to keep ball and bore the fcuk out of the opposition.

SCMP rules - Now Championship and League One
trooky replied to LCFCCHRIS's topic in Leicester City Forum
The rules should have sanctions, then they wouldn't need to waste so much time resolving matters of PSR or this for example. Middlesbrough wouldn't have the opportunity to demand that Southampton are kicked out if the punishment was clear. It ridiculous that Southampton fans are buying tickets not knowing if the match will go ahead, Middlesbrough are still training, the game could be postponed etc.... It's not fair on Hull either, not knowing who they'll play. It's hardly a major offense, when you consider teams scout the opposition during games. This is farcical, if the punishment was clear the game would go ahead and it could be dealt with over the summer when the media circus has died down. The football authorities aren't fit to govern. -

Yes, apparently they introduced a rule but not a sanction to go with it. That's why their is so much speculation about the punishment. -

I don't agree with any kind of financial rules applied to football, especially limits on owner investment because it just prevents the growth of clubs. With the current ongoing farce of spygate and the fact they never put any sanction in place after Leeds, the EFL would be better placed sorting out the existing rules. -
I don't think anyone realized how divided and low on confidence the squad was after RVN stint as a manger.
-
Definitely Winks, Vesty, Okoli, Kristiansen and maybe BDR. They're all under contract but these have to all leave the club. Also Challinor has never finished below 8th in 15 years which is quite an achievement at any level.
