  1. Graham Potter, Thomas Tuncel and Mauricio Pochettino must also be part of the few that thought it was unbelievable opportunity.
  2. With the exception of Dean Smith, our board have done well with all our recent managerial appoints, so I don't under the pessimism.
  3. Not heard any direct quotes from Enzo, but It's just they way of the world, name a manager from a smaller club who's turned down Chelsea. It Never happens, they have more to offer than us plus it's London.
  4. If he wants proper direction then Chelsea isn't the club for Enzo. Boehly and Eghbali are ****ing clueless, their solution is to just chuck money at the team and buy youth without a thought for team structure, squad size, harmony, what the manager needs etc. It took a manager of Pochettino's quality nearly a year to sort out the mess they created. I pity whoever gets the job, it's an impossible task because the owners just keep adding to the size of the problem.
  5. Totally agree with you, hopefully Enzo and Kieran both turn down Chelsea. These clown owners have ruined football, spending £750 million on transfers fees in a failed attempt to play football manager for real. Just flashing the cash buying who they want without a ****ing clue, or long term plan. How are they fit and proper owners, the PL are a joke.
  6. Not sure why any young manager would want to work for a billionaire owner playing real life football manager who's spent a billion to make his team worse.
  7. Not sure if any of those managers are ready to manage, or deserve, the soap opera that's Chelsea.
  8. Maybe, but they're a similar size to us and haven't won anything so not that great IMO.
  9. Remind me what Brighton have won with their level of competence.
  10. This whole thread is becoming pointless
  11. Dreadful game, can't see Norwich doing anything at Elland Road
  12. A quick Google search shows Everton lost £44.7m in 21-22 ; £89m in 22-23 We've lost £92.5m and £89.7m for the same period. So we've lost another £48.5m compared to Everton. If there's any consistency you would expect 8 points for the first breach and maybe 4 points for the 2nd breach of PSR
  13. What exactly are the owners getting away with? There are far worse owners around than ours. They backed Rodgers to try and achieve champions league football and nearly succeeded. It's not the owners fault that the team blew it twice, otherwise the financial situation would be a completely different story.
  14. Salaries from capology.comhttps://www.capology.com/club/leicester/salaries/
  15. What I mean is, if he stays then the meeting has gone and he believes he'll have the transfer funds to strengthen the squad. If he's off then we've definitely got to no money to work with.
  16. If Enzo stays, then we can at least expect a decent summer transfer window, otherwise if he's leaving then it's going to be a shit summer.
  17. Why settle for 2nd best, let's get the original and go from the sublime to the ridiculous and appoint Sam Allardyce.🤔😂
  18. I can understand him being upset if the board lied about our PSR issues and the Sensi deal falling through but I don't understand his gripe with the club over Casadei? It's always been reported that Chelsea recalled him, unless this isn't the case and we sent him back for PSR reasons. I hope he stays but would understand if he walks because he's had enough shit from supporters in a successful season. He's on a hiding to nothing next season at Leicester, because nothing he does is not good enough for a large part of the fanbase.
  19. Bit of a no brainer, we need to stay in the league and spend what we need to spend to ensure this happens. We're all assuming that we'll have a PSR points deduction next season, but 24/25 will be the last season with PSR rules. I'm not sure if the club is skint or if we've just not complied with PSR but the damage has been done already. I don't see the point of trying to comply with PSR anymore if it's being replaced. Top should definitely spend what it takes to ensure we have a team capable of 55+ points so any point deductions are irrelevant, because the championship would love to penalize us into oblivion if we're relegated again.
  20. He's never managed in the PL and in my opinion he's not going to walk or leave for a broke Sevilla in La Liga. His stock is high having just secured promotion as champions so he's in a strong position to change the parts of the club he's not happy with.
  21. Would offer contracts to Vardy, Ndidi and Vestergaard. Signing Fatawu is a must. Doyle and Yunus can go. Release, Praet, Albrighton and Iheanacho. Try to sell, Ward, Kristiansen, Thomas, Souttar and Soumare. Keep rest of squad and sign/loan 2 CBs, 2 CMs, 1 wide forward and a CF.
  22. The positive vibe from foxes talk😂. Next year will be a return to the doom mongers on acid.
  23. No I would rather be "badly run" and win the Premier league, FA cup, Championship, reach the Quarter finals of the Champions league and play in the Europa league. What could we achieve if we weren't "badly run"
  24. I don't see Everton having a mass clear out of players to raise money for PSR so why should we? We're already in breach for 21-23 so what good will it do? Any home grown player sold will have to be replaced, so it's not going to make a huge difference. The pure profit will be spent on increased wages for replacements. We will just have to appeal our punishments like Everton, reduce the wage bill and get on with it because other clubs are in the same mess.
  25. Exactly, our losses for 21/22 and 22/23 are very similar to Everton who received -8 points deduction and no embargo. It could be argued in 22/23 we tried to address our PSR issues by making no signings and payed the ultimate price in relegation. If the EPL want clubs to do the right thing and to encourage compliance with PSR then our punishment should be more lenient than Everton's. Otherwise what's the point of PSR if you can spend what you like to stay in the league and receive a more lenient punishment than a team that tries to comply and is then relegated?
