  1. Summerville stepped up to the plate last night for Leeds with 2 goals and assist, we need the same from KDH tonight.
  2. It's all hypothetical, pointless and not helpful. We can judge Enzo at the season end. The target was promotion, not to finish the season unbeaten, or with a records point total or to be promoted in March / April.
  3. Vesty played 150+ games in the Bundesliga and 72 games in the PL for Southampton so he's more than championship level. This forum has forgotten how he galvanized the club after relegation. I dispute the fact any manager would get us promoted because Ricky P, Ndidi and a few others wouldn't be at the club in the championship and Winks isn't playing for just anyone. Agree that Enzo should change his tactics and play 2 up when we're chasing a game, but In his defense Daka and Vardy missed so many easy chances against Plymouth and Bristol we would already be promoted and coasting.
  4. And neither of these teams or managers built up a 11 point lead over 2nd place either. Was this also despite Enzo? Was Vesty having a good season, or Ricky P and JJ playing full seasons despite Enzo also? The Championship is long and tough, our key players like KDH and Winks are tired.
  5. And by the same token he won't do any less than a world class manager in the PL with this squad.
  6. Leeds and Southampton both have more experienced managers, equally strong squads with plenty of PL quality players and less out of contract players to select from. Leeds arguably have a stronger squad than us, especially in attack. Both these teams have had long unbeaten runs at various points of the season, but both are stumbling over the same line and both could miss out on automatic promotion. I'm fairly certain their own forums haven't been in a hysterical state of constant meltdown since February totally dismissing the credentials of their respective managers.
  7. Can't believe we've 87 pages debating if we should sack a young, promising, inexperienced manager in his first English job when we're top of the championship with 3 games remaining. Let's bring back Dean Smith, Sharkey and John Terry because that worked brilliantly first time.
  8. Brilliant player, will only get better in PL. Just hope we can still sign him with PSR rules hanging over us.
  9. It ridiculous it takes program notes from Top to gee us up
  10. Fatawu is brilliant, he can beat a man so easily and has created many chances this season. He's only going to get better in the PL. Just hope with all this PSR chaos we still sign him.
  11. Agree, Coady has no pace but Ndidi just stood and watched the player before he passed. I think he was signed to start alongside Faes but Vesty's form has made him undropable. Fair play to Vesty but if we played Coady and Vesty together we would be destroyed because of their lack of pace.
  12. Don't care about performance, tactics, it's simply a must win game. Come on the foxes🦊
  13. He has a point, Vardy is as guilty as Daka in this clip, but I would start Vardy Saturday.
  14. So of these misses are criminal.
  15. We're still paying the price for the Rodgers era and overspending on wages etc... IMO It's going to take a decade to recover from those mistakes so I don't see anyone new queuing up to take over the club in the short term.
  16. Let's just slag of every Leicester player give them no credit whatsoever, they're all ****ing shit, the club, the manager the board, Rudkin, Top. Shitest bunch of ***** to ever wear the shirt and the manager is a failed ****ing pound shop pep who should be sacked with 4 games to go and replaced with Alan Curbishely player 442 hoof ball with a team of midgets.
  17. Adam Armstrong should be ahead of Rutter
  18. The smash and grabs could have had the same outcome whatever system we play. They would park the bus and look to hit on the counter against 442 or any other formation. The defence is 2nd best in the league. In all the games we've lost, we've created more than enough clear cut chances to win, we've just not taken them. The championship is highly competitive and our squad is a long way from being the best of all-time, we only had 1 outfield player in the team of the season ffs.
  19. It's not Enzo, or the defence which is 2nd best in the league. The strikers need to start converting the easy chances they've been missing. Praet has looked good in the last couple of games and more attacked minded so I would maybe start him instead of Ndidi. KDH has been brilliant with 25 goal involvements so we should play with a quicker tempo and hopefully KDH drags us over the line.
  20. Yes, but we'll be in even worse shape if we don't get promoted this season. After their recent humiliation the EFL will through the book at us.

    Daka

Yes agree, Coady should start and Daka should be dropped. We still rely so much on Vardy but he can't play every week and has been inconsistent. Not sure what the answer is though, Nacho has retired at Leicester and is on the beach. Cannon has been injury prone this season and still unproven. I just hope we can't limp over the line and sort out this horrible, overpaid squad with some PL money.

    Daka

No the difference is Haaland is one of the best strikers in the world with a goal scoring instinct and natural confidence whilst Daka is out of his depth, has poor technique and absolutely no composure or goal scoring instinct. He simply isn't good enough for the championship, so inconsistent and costs the team points. We've been let down by all our strikers this season which is why he's still playing, but Vardy can be excused because of his age and GOAT status. The whole of this forum is blaming Enzo, his tactics and gone into meltdown, but If Vardy or Daka scored even 5 of the 20 odd big chances they've missed this season we would be promoted already.
  23. Hopefully we've sorted promotion before the last home game and he can start for a deserved send off along with Vardy

    Daka

Sorry, you can't blame this on Enzo. Some of these chances are so simple, it has nothing to do with mismanagement or needing a psychologist. He's a professional striker and should score 50% of these simple tap-ins. If he scores the misses against Leeds, and another of the other open goals were already promoted.
  25. trooky

    Daka

Absolutely shit, with abysmal composure and if he'd scored half of those chances we'd already be promoted.
