It was basically a two-horse race that season, and he was wedded to the worst GK in Bazunu (yes worse than Ward), Bazunu got injured and they managed to get through the play-offs as their team and ours was far superior to the rest of the league that season. It cannot be emphasised enough how bad of a signing this would be.
